BFG games w/o internet connection?

Heading out of state for a couple of weeks,
with many days on the road.
Will have my laptop w/me.
Can anyone tell me if BFG, Shockwave, or Steam games
I have previously downloaded
will play w/o an active internet connection?

BFG, don't need an active internet connection once they are installed. Shockwave games do need an active connection. I'm not sure abouy Steam games. Enjoy your time out of state.

we have an 19 hr drive 1 way...argh.

Most Steam games should have an "offline mode" (as long as they aren't multiplayer games that have to be played online).
