Using MaG's w/t, I need help.
I'm a short way into the game & am at the "Crossed Mud Flats." W/t says to see a Lemurid run & hide under big leaves & to "take & use the short pointed stick" on active spot to get the lemurid."
Now here's the problem - if there's a stick nearby (don't see any), then I'm OK if I find it. Please if so, where is it?
If it means that I have to use the one from the beginning of the game (page 2 on w/t, paragraph after Beach Crossing), then I have a problem. Seems that's the ONLY item I could not find & also, I'ts on the other side of the water that Jeb just crossed & I cannot get back there... I need that Lemurid so I can feed him to Jeb for energy!
Please, please help me to continue in the game, as usual, I will be eternally grateful!

Have a problem & sure hope you can remedy the situation.
I did the cooking, made the seafood, etc.
Now I have to "prepare the still." I filled barrel with water & have to attach "pipe" to the still - problem is went crazy looking over & over in inventory for it & can't find it now (was there back when). The only thing I can figure is that Robber Monkey stole it, did like the w/t said & put alot of (I thought!) important things into another save tab, but I guess I did not do that with the Pipe (coil) from the beach.
Please, please tell me you have a remedy for me & that I don't have to go all the way back from the save when I got the pipe.
I eagerly await your reply!

Check if you have a straight pipe (not a coil) in inventory.
If you do - see if that will attach to the still.
Keep us posted.

No MaG, do not have it. W/t says "pipe" (to attach to still), but when I went back to save were I retrieved it on the beach, it showed up in inventory as a "coil." As I said above, me thinks that the Monkey Robber stole it!

If you think Leonard may have stolen it, you can swipe it back from him.

Have you found the nook in the cliff where he hides out yet? First you'll need to distract him with a gift of paint. Then, while his back is turned, move past him and then look to your left out over the clifftop - you should see a palm tree a little way off. You'll also see a moving bar at the top of your screen which will help you gauge when to make the jump to the tree. Any items stolen will be covered up inside the tree nest.

Went another route & went back to previous save & hid the pipe so he would not get it again & proceeded with game until now that is.
First problem is I'm at "the Inlet. Got the termites with the small stick.
First problem is I cannot find the ledge to get the lizard.
Says I need the small stick to get it & previously used the stick to get the termites, of which is in inventory with the termites on it & it can't be disassemled!
Also, got the bag in the tree & retrieved an item.
Second problem is, I'm with the nasty Leonard the monkey, gave him the turquise liquid & got the paint on his vine with the paint brush.
The wall is suppose to push out so I can get into the Santuary, but it does not.
Can you help to accomplish this feat?

You don't need to get the lizard to finish the game.
for getting that item from the robber monkey.

As for the vine - be sure that Leonard drew that shape inside the vine on the wall.
Then go down the cliff.
Go to the vine drawn on the cliff wall with no shape inside.
Now you draw the shape that Leonard drew above you.
The drawing is like 2 L's that faces each other or mirror image. There is a space at top and bottom.
Use the turquoise paint.
If you draw it correctly, the thing will pop out.

Yes MaG, I got thru it, did not realize I had to go to the bottom of the cliff.
Anyway, I've run into more trouble.
I am at the cliff where monkies Amber & Slugger are & need to get the marrow from the broken bone there. Trouble is, the hook I need was used previously to make the fishing pole.
Tried to click the pole in the white dissabmle icon on bottom right of inventory, but it won't take it, when I click the pole on the white icon, it says Dissamble/Empty.
Can you please help me to get it disassembled so I can get my hook back!

If you've clicked the pole onto the disassemble icon and it doesn't work, then it sounds as though it isn't possible to disassemble this particular object. I wouldn't worry about the marrow too much -- all the foodstuffs are optional, there are plenty of other things you can collect.

Darn, I spoke to soon! Did not progress very much.
Went up the cliff to Slugger & Amber. Can't speak to Amber, Slugger won't let me.
W/t says to use either (already did before) slough of snake or green paint. Used paint can, nothing happens. Read in another w/t that you can mix it with the gas can to go from can of dried paint to (good) paint. Tried it on Slugger, think it worked, got to go into hole to get Gardenia & enameled vase. Made all vases & shell necklace.
Went back up cliff & that pain Slugger will not let me talk to Amber so I can court her with gifts.
Please help me to get to talk to her without Slugger interferring!

If you scared him the first time, he should not come back anymore.

Using the green paint can on Slugger does not scare him away so I can talk to Amber, please, please help me to get rid of Slugger!

I sent you a set of saves. I think one of them is when Leonard and Amber is done.

Thanks so much MaG, but as I reread your w/t (genius that you are!), I realized it was not Leonard that I gave the snake skin to, but Slugger before, so I gave it to him & was able to talk to Amber & am progressing thru the game!
Reason why I did not respond right away yesterday was that (I'm away) I am using my laptop & could not find a wireless network to connect to, luckily as present, I found one!

Oh MaG, I get so frustrated & having to bother you all the time. You guessed it, stuck again.
Met the ovids, placed all numbers in pipes, got the green ovid, put it on Jeb & suppose to put it back on the wall. Trouble is, I don't know where I put it on the wall because now I'm suppose to be able to go thru gate, can't. Tried & even went up stairs to click on the entry way where the mirrored L is & it tell me "return recored print to it's place."
Don't know how to retrieve Jeb's green ovid again,if I have to to put it back on the wall (where I don't know where it goes!)
Please help!
Also, I constantly hear an on/off siren that I can't get rid of, please, make it stop!!!!

The siren (I think) is caused by taking out the gold ovoid. Place it back on the slot at bottom left.

As for Jep's ovoid = you use the blank ovoid that is in inventory (you should have picked it up earlier) on Jep.
Then place it on a blank slot on the wall just above the machine - bottom row. Then it will open the gate.

Color me dumb, bu I do not know what the "gold ovoid" is! Please explain.
As to the green ovoid that I had in inventory,
as I explained yesterday, I do not know what I did with it, how to locate it, & to place it as you said "on a blank slot on the wall above machine-bottom row. (Do you mean the blue cone machine that I moved the pegs around so I could get the language to have the formed sentence "he who has intelligence, etc."?)
I am so confused!

Just looked at w/t & all the ovoids are green with pink centers and are all pulsating. Your w/t says that the "2 at the bottom do not have pink centers" - I do not see this, they all have pink centers............
Just saw where w/t says about the blaring (metallic ovoid on left). For the life of me, I do not see a metallic ovoid??
Please be patient with all me questions........

The gold ovoid is at bottom far left of the wall of small ovoids.

The ovoids without the pink centres are on the bottom row, directly above the strange machine with the pipes.

HERE 's a YouTube excerpt which might help you better. The part with the ovoids starts at around 6 minutes in.

Thank you so & also for the YouTube, but I hoped to get to you before you had to research & solve my delima. Problem was, I did not see the gold ovoid because it was in inventory, hiding behind the green one, got that darn blaring to stop & got to the opened gate, I'm so happy.

So am I, but alas, another small problem.
Went down hatch in Nemo's office, I "removed blockage of water line" & now every time I try to resurface anywhere underwater, I come up on the lake where the jaguar is pacing. I cannot use Shortcut to get back always as it is not in use.
Please tell me where to go underwater so I can resurface up hatch to be back in Nemo's office.
I will be truly be beholding to ya!

Remember that you went down from the office through a hatch on the floor.
Then you were in a tube, did a puzzle to open the door to go out underwater.
You did not go down through the lake.

So after you did the removal of the blockage of the water line - look (not up) on same level-point of view.
You can view the structure ahead better if you are standing by the grate where you remove the blockage.
Look ahead and see a structure - swim there and open the door.

Oh yes, recall seeing that structure lit up in green, but did not reaize it was Nemo's!

As usual I'm at the very end of the game & stuck.
In Nemo's room, did all things in the mixer I think correct.......... Nemo spoke to me but don't recall if he said things that you commented on him saying in your w/t. Heard alarm of shield, pulled back lever & he says "problem comes from motor - it should be at full speed".
There is no shortcut available to go to beach.
Do not know what to do to finish the game, please help!!!!!!!

Check the control panel close to where Slugger collapsed and died, it sounds as though you might need to tweak that to get the power back up again.

OK, here's what I did.
On the mixer, looking thru eyepeace it shows that the Observation Zone is empty (is his correct?).
The siren is still blasting.
She speaks about leaving the island.
Also says that "problem comes from motor-should run at full speed."
Lastly, went to control panel & all the green buttons are no longer green & she says "not going to cut motor, not when it's running so well, it would revive volcano."
I am so confused, please please help me finish, I've come so far!!

I would recommend that you go back to a saved game before doing the mixer.

When you go back to that saved game - check the control panel that Rushes asked you to. It does look like that the process is off balanced. Then redo the mixer process.

Did that, went to last save, filled bottle with magenta, went to Motor Room, opened control panel (where lights are not glowing green anymore & she says - "not going to cut motor when it's running so well, it'd revive the volcano."
Please, please tell me where you think I'm going wrong!

Last sentence of w/t says Carry Jeb,slowly pul down lever to raise shied, think that's when I landed on beach wher speaks, so confused............ Is this all I can do?

There are 2 options at the ending. You have to decide which one you want to do - Either go home or raise the shield.

The walkthrough states:

The alarm means that a helicopter is arriving.
Mina decides.
Save game here before making a decision.
- Go home: Carry Jep. Go to the beach of the Inlet. Watch.
- Raise the shield: Carry Jep. Slowly pull down the lever to raise the shield. Watch.

My problem is with Leonard the monkey, who has stolen the Ocarina I need to get him on my side. I've done everything else I can to get his bar green, but I need the ocarina to get the last 5%.

If I try to get the ocarina back, Leonard gets angry, and then I'm even more stuck. Is there any way I can get the ocarina back without Leonard getting angry, or can someone send me a savegame where all three monkeys are friends with Jep and Mina?

Hi Stimpy, to GameBoomers.

Yes, you'll definitely need to get the ocarina back from Leonard. Wait until his back is turned to you and he is busy with his paints, then you can sneak past him and jump across to his nest. Be as quick as you can here and click on the bag in the nest where he's hidden the ocarina. Grab it and then jump down away onto the beach area rather than back towards Leonard. Do that fast enough and he won't even realise where you've been.

Hi Rushes Thanks for the welcome, and thanks for the hint, but it looks like Leonard is finished painting (I've given him all the paints and food and tried to give him everything else), and he just sits there... I've also tried to sneak to his palm tree from the beach, but he spots me every time.

Argh. There must be a way to get it. Have you painted the picture of Mina on the wall yet, or any other pictures? If you leave the area completely and then return, does that make any difference to what Leonard is doing?

Also, did Leonard steal the ocarina from you very much earlier in the game, or could you go back to an earlier save before he swiped it, and replay through?

I've managed to find all my saves for this game but they are unlabelled. I'd be happy to e-mail you a batch and you can take a look through them and see if one of them is where you need to be. My gameplay doesn't follow the walkthrough, though.

We could also wait for someone who perhaps has a labelled save they can send to you.

I sent you a saved game that has Leonard done. It follows the walkthrough.

I've painted the picture and left area and returned several times, but nothing new with Leonard. He stole it early in the game (I think), and I haven't been very good at saving so I would have to go way back and replay a little too much

I would very much like to get a saved game, preferrably a labelled one, but I won't say no to your batch if nothing else shows up
