I just srted this game and im confused already..after the carriage ride he gets out and if facing the archway..and all that is there is the pot seller no guitarist nd i cant even talk to the vender the arrow just points straight to the archway..

i finished the kaleidescope puzzle and got the 4th kodex but for some reason i cant leave the tower..??/ am i missing something?

Be sure that you read the letter from Carlos which you picked up from the corner table, and took the key from there. Also that you read the codex from the kaleidoscope.
