Hey,
I've solved some stuff by myself and am proud, but now heavily stuck smile
So, I made it to the bells tower. I managed to retrieve the record that plays some bells tunes, but can't quite see how to implement it. I cannot understand how to manipulate the strange panel in the bells tower, and can't understand my clicking's significance.
I tried playing with the buttons in each of the four bell panels down in that building, but can't figure out how to advance. Thought of course of trying to immitate the record, but it seems a little far fetched. and there's this whole thing with two bells that aren't functioning. Did notice however that the bells that can be heard on the record are the same ones that are functioning.

I'd really really appreciate a tiny hint for now smile

Tnx,
Tomer

Hi Tomer,

I haven't played this one. Let's wait for our Rhem experts to drop by with a hint for you.

Good that you are working this on your own. Feels good to solve the puzzles.

Bell tower: There's a clue for that panel. As usual for Rhem, closing doors helps.

Bell panels - That is not far fetched. Activate the bell tower first.

You are on the right track. luck

Mag, solved it - thanks a lot!
I actually wanted to kinda subconsciously noticed the doors, but for some reason never bothered doing anything with them. And it's indeed a classic. Never played Rhem, but other games have it too.

Very nice, and very likely I'll get it smile
Shame the graphics are so old fashioned!

Glad you got through. Hopefully you get the full game and enjoy it.

Rhem's graphic is unique to Rhem. It is one of its trademark done by one very good artist.

Are you sure it's not simply lack of budget? smile
No matter - I really liked the puzzles, and I found the atmosphere fair. I know nothing of the game, or the plot of it, which I hope exists to a degree.

I might as well ask: is it important that I start with the first one?

The story is basically a call for you by Zetais to help (or find) his brother Kales in the world of Rhem.

The series of Rhem games is based on the exploration of that world.

You can check reviews or old threads at Discussion forum.

Is there a walkthrough for the Rhem 4 demo?

I know there's one for the entire game.

Thanks,

Robert

Robert,

Use the complete walkthrough.
The part I think that has the heading "Bell Tower Area".
The scroll down to: Access the Bell Tower.
Start at the part there when you are inside the Bell Tower area already. Have fun.

Thanks MaG.

As much as I hate to use walkthroughs these Rhem games always give me a lot of trouble - yet I did fine with the Myst series (for the most part.)
