The lines should be like this:

Then use the panel at right. That should move the tram in reverse a bit.
Go there and check the tram. luck

I got the piece between the rails but the door does not open. When I put my cursor on the circle ring in the blue box it has a question mark on it did I miss something previously to fix this problem?

That door won't be opened until you have the piece needed for it.

Darn Darn Darn I must have missed that piece somewhere along the line. Back to the drawing board will read through the past WT to see if I can find that piece and try to go back and pick it up.I think I may have found it in Meneandes bedroom I dont remember being there. There is a cabinet with a device there that I dont remember.I went back to the bedroom and the device was taken. So back to the drawing board again. Will continue reading. Thanks Mag.

No, I'm sorry. I didn't add more info.
You will get that piece needed for that door later in the game.
You're doing okay./ Good luck.

The WT says after picking up the piece between the rails go inside the building is that the other building? I found a place under the dice on the wall with a picture of the scroll but no socket to put the light. There is a question mark on the picture of the scroll. Will keep looking for the socket. I found it!!!Now how do I change the numbers under the dice after getting the code I clicked on them and they dont change. Will continue to play with it to see if I can figure it out.

The wt states that the the building by the tram is locked.
The other building where you are is not. laugh

As for the entering the number using the clue of the numbers under the dice - the wt states: Enter the rearranged numbers on the opposite wall.

ok accidentally hit the red button twice now cant get the code numbers back to put on the opposite wall. I tried hitting the red button again and it just gives me a new set of numbers even if I go back to a save game I cant get the random numbers back that are the same as the code numbers.

Dutch,

The code is a clue for any random set of numbers you get by pressing that button.
-
So use the code - 4 6 1 2 3 5 - to deduce the random number you get.

Quote:
Press the red button under the dice picture to get a random number.

Arrange those numbers in different position using the code 4 6 1 2 3 5.

Remember that those numbers denotes the position in the sequence.

For example: you get 584 130. Move 5 that is first number in the arrangement to position 3 (since 1 is in the 3rd position in the code). Move 8 to position 4 (since 2 is in the 4th position in the code); move 4 to position 5 (since 3 is in the 5th position in the code).... After rearranging, the numbers will be 105 843.

Enter the rearranged numbers on the opposite wall.

Good luck.

How do I get the light to turn on and roll the scroll to get the code. The clock was at 12 when I took the fuse. I put it on twelve and nothing happens. I put the fuse in touched the red buttons under the light and the scroll does not move nor does the light go on. I dont have the numbers 461235 in the random numbers under the dice on the wall to change them around. The numbers under the dice are 685 970 How do I change them to 461 235? The picture of the scroll under the dice on the wall has a question mark on it. Why is that there? I went to the walkthrough to get the code when I entered it the door did not open I think because the 461235 numbers are not on the random numbers under the dice. Is there a way to get the matching random numbers?

As I mentioned above - 461 235 is the code.
That is not the solution.

Let's say instead of numbers you get letters ABCDEF or random numbers 456789.

Using the code 461 235 POSITIONS - you rearrange those letters to be: DFABCE or 794568.

Good luck.

I figured out how to get the light and the scroll to work I am sorry for being so dense but how do I put the numbers on the scroll. I know how to transpose the numbers got that figured. Just dont know how to put the numbers there when I click on the scroll or try to enter numbers it jumps back into the book. What use is the light if it doesn't stay on? I push the light button it goes on and when I release it the light goes off. Will keep trying to get the numbers entered on the scroll. There are question marks where the numbers should be. Are there supposed to be numbers there already? Figured out what the light is for it is to see where to put the next set of numbers by following the lines from the number to the next set down.

Dutch,

You do not place the decoded numbers on that scroll.
The clue 461 235 is derived from that scroll. The lines show how the positions are transposed leading to 461 235. This is source of the clue.

The decoded numbers are entered on the wall across (not another room - same room) the panel with the dice. luck

I entered 461 235 in the panel and the door does not open. I have done it 4 times by going back to the save game and starting over and the door will not open.
