Is anyone playing The Tiny Bang Story? I'm embarrassed to admit that I'm already stuck trying to figure out a three digit code at the beginning.

Thank you very much, Lise, for your response. But that hasn't helped so far.

I've already been upstairs and seen the clue. Clicking inside the clue causes some of the numbers and symbols to disappear. I'm left with three numbers - 0,7,1 and a triangle. All possible combinations didn't work.

Also, clicking the "?" clue button when in close up of all the numbers gives a pictorial clue, with all numbers shown, but 0,3,6,9 as the prominent numbers. Still no luck with combinations of those numbers.

Perhaps another gentle nudge?

Oh, bless your heart, Lise! Thank you so much!! I was ignoring the triangle in that clue.

I was hoping that opening the lock would give me a pipe wrench to open that hatch, but no. Now I'm looking for light bulbs and several things for the granny. I can see all the gears, but obviously I can't pick them up until I actually have a need for them.

My goodness, tricky little game! But precious! smile

I got all the gears, but am still looking for {one} pipe. Lots of pixel hunting! Bursting balloons - ha, original puzzle!! Love the little bugs with the big blue eyes and the lovely Colibri logo.

Agree with you, kjos, a delightful game, and am anxious to see what's in store if I ever get to leave the first location. Sure hope Mag creates a walkthrough for this game. smile

Lise, not knowing which ones you have, it's hard to guess. I can tell you where my last and hardest to find was:

Look at the spiral staircase going up to the upper level. Look at the very tip end where the banister bends downward. That's the pipe.

Did I guess the right one????

(I still haven't gotten past the *&^%* arcade game. Gave the game a rest till later or tommorrow.)

Yes, very much like Machinarium, even music and "voices" of the people.

Have begun this game now and have got fairly far, for me anyway, without asking for help. However can't find the last light bulb. Looked high and low, clicked hint on but have clicked in all open places but no sign of it showing me where the last lightbulb is. Any ideas? Have also got the puzzle pieces but I don't think I can do anything with these until I have the last lightbulb.
Thanks

Hi ritchiesbabe:

Here you go:

1. at door to second level
2. at door at the second level
3. on granny's balcony, far right
4. granny's lamp
5. granny's lamp
6. lamp on rooftop gazebo
7. lamp on rooftop gazebo
8. very top of roof of gazebo on rooftop
9. in granny's chest after you get the key

Puzzle pieces are the last step to first location before moving to second location.

I was informed that this game is more of a casual game and not adventure.
I will move this thread to casual forum.

Please follow it there to continue this thread.

Thanks. Happy Gaming.

LadyCav, I am playing it also and it is a Hidden Object Game. You spend your time finding multiple pieces of one item hidden throughout the scenes. It is definitely more HOG than adventure. Casual includes many other genres also.

Well, yeah, since you put it that way, Ana, I guess you could call it a hidden object game. There's certainly enough searching for tiny objects for it to qualify! smile

(I'm used to the hog's from BFG, and it's a tad different from those, and in my mind, I'm still comparing this to Machinarium.)

I haven't browsed the casual topics very much, and I see now that it does include many varieties of games.

Thanks for clarifying that, Ana. smile

It's a cute game though, I'm enjoying it. I was hoping it was more like Machinarium and Samarost but it really only resembles it with the steam punk theme. I am a little disappointed but it's still worth the money.

Yes, I'm enjoying it, also. It was worth the sale price for me.

Ana, do I need to learn how to hide spoilers if I answer a question and provide locations for someone like I did earlier?

I've only ever used 'quick reply' rather than full reply. Didn't want to inadvertently go against the forum rules.

No, you are okay. If it was in the middle of a game discussion thread then it would be nice, but this is a hints thread so no worries.

You can always switch to full reply without losing your post if you want. To add a spoiler tag just click on the bull horn looking icon.

I thought it would be different too but it's still got something more about it than a usual HOG.

Am stuck again at the wheel compass bit I'm sure I have to turn it so it's straight, but am playing on laptop and [blip] scroll pad is playing up. Is there an easy way to get it all lined up?

ETA: Ah, I had already typed my question before I saw yours, ritchiesbabe. I'm having the same problem. All one can do is rotate, there is no other manipulation.

Has anyone completed the nautical chart symbol in the globe puzzle in the third world/location? I've rotated it a hundred times and get ever so close but not spot on. (???)

Oh dear me LadyCav this doesn't sound like I will be able to get past it. I bet saved games won't work for this game either.

When I turn it it either moves too fast or not at all. I'm sure it's cos I'm playing on the laptop but I don't think my archaic pc would run the game plus I'd have to restart and I'm quite a way in now.

I think I will ask my sister if she can do it when she gets back in but I'm not hopeful.

I bet we have to keep trying that's all we can do.

Hi, Ana. Yes, it's in the third world/chapter. There is a half globe in an upper room with a movie projector screen in it. Once you find the part that goes in the open globe, a puzzle is activated, and all the lines must match up vertically. I've spun the thing prob 300 times by now. You'll understand when you see it. It's just math, as each circle is a different size and requires different numbers of rotations to become vertical. A little too tedious and takes too long for my liking.

Been trying valiantly for a good half hour no joy. I have been turning the wheel clockwise the outside wheel is going around clockwise. Do you think I'm doing it wrong and should be making it go anti clockwise? I don't see myself being able to do it to be honest with you.

A half hour? I've been trying on an off all morning! I have been going clockwise each time.

I tried jiggling it a little to the right and left when it was really really close, but that doesn't do anything. When I got one ever so close, I would go counter clockwise once and then clockwise once to see if it would bring it back into position and move it just that tiny smidgen that I needed. No go.

If you will click on the blue question mark, and look at the pictorial hint, you'll see that when it's in the correct position, the wooden pattern underneath will have that one single "curlicue" on the left side at the 9 o'clock position.

If you get really, really close, but not quite there, it takes 5 rotations to get it back to anywhere near that same point. And to get it back to that ever so close point, takes 120 rotations. Yes, I counted. This is getting to the point where it's not fun. I must be well over 700 rotations by now.

I've clicked that hint I honestly think I'm poor at moving the wheel anyway so it's just not gonna happen for me. My sister was much faster but she tried for a little bit and then said it should be done by now. Pity there is no skip feature. It was a good game up until this point.

Hi mnv83,

I'm not that far yet. I'm only in chapter 3.

When you click on the blue question mark, doesn't it give you a pictorial clue as to what you are supposed to be doing?

Hmmm, it's hard to tell what you need to accomplish.

Perhaps the blue circles change color when correct, as if water is flowing through them or something?

Can you turn the wheels once they are in position? There's a big lever off to the far left. Maybe you can try to pull that down and see if anything happens? There's also a small copper colored switch on the far left balloon shaped copper ball on the left side of the pipes. Can you switch that and does it do anything?

Sorry if I'm not much help. Looks like a bit of trial and error is what you could try. Good luck with it! smile

Edit to add: It also looks like there are more connection points or valve holders than there are valves. They may not necessarily go on those places seen in the clue/hint.

LOL, ...if I ever make it to chapter 5!

May I ask how you got through in puzzle in chapter 3 that I've posted about above, the one with the three circles that you have to rotate over and over till the red lines match up vertically? I need to get past that if I am ever going to see your pipes puzzle! smirk

Edit to Add: kjos, chapter 3 is up in the tree after you get the elevator with the 24 balls you had to find open.

Guys, I did that compass puzzle. It took me only move it twice counterclockwise. The hint picture shows the right position of that curly part. The vertical line wasn´t perfectly straight but the button changed from red cross to green check mark and puzzle was done.

Hopefully it helps someone.

Oh Hallelujah!!!! Elee, thank you so much! I switched to counter clockwise and got it on about the third or fourth rotation! Bless you, dear, you are an angel... thank you!! happydance

Richard, do you mean the map of the world out on the balcony? I agree with mnv83, if that's the one, trial and error on that one. I'm usually not good at those, but I lucked out on that one and got it fairly quickly.

Now, on with chapter 3.

ETA: Richard, I've only found one apple so far, by that map of the world in a bird nest in the tree.

Hi all. I have been following this thread since yesterday. I am on the fence about buying it. It looks so cute and I want to play really bad, but I keep reading about all the points where you all are stuck and I'm just not sure if I will get through any of them. What's a girl to do? smile I'll keep following and maybe if you all figure it out it will be easier for me and then I will buy it. I don't mind spending the money, that's not it. I just don't want to spend the money and not be able to finish the game. I've done that a few times and it's annoying to say the least. I wish they would put out a walkthrough. That would definitely make my decision to buy a definite YES. Good Luck to all of you...I'll be watching.

Hi Barbara,

Since the game is brand new, it's far too early for a walkthrough to be created, I would think. Maybe someone will do one soon. Or maybe even post their progress on you tube.

It's a very cute game. I'm not sorry I bought it. Some of the puzzles are challenging and some of the pieces are hard to find. But the challenge is part of the fun, right? (If I hadn't been such an idiot about always going clockwise in that last puzzle instead of counter clockwise, I could have been into the next chapter by now. blush ).

As far as getting stuck, that's what friendly forums are for. smile

LsdyCav you are of course correct and that is why I'm following this thread. Challenge is part of the fun as long as it is doable at some point. It appears from following here that everyone has done a great job of helping each other and have gotten through the rough spots. I am probably going to purchase it before the end of the day. I have another game I'm working on now but just about finished and WILL need something because I'm off work until Wednesday. Yay.... I'm just really glad that this thread is here and will probably use it often. Your right, there probably won't be a walkthrough for a while if at all, but that IS what the forums are for. Thank you and I'm sure I'll be looking for help soon. smile

LadyCav,found them all. Working on one puzzle with the 6 colored columns. The colores aren't right. Don't have the right amount of colors. only three red none of the others match the top of the chart. I think that's the last puzzle.

Where is that puzzle, Richard? Doesn't sound familiar to me. I got the apples, took the coin out to the balcony, opened the door, and nothing. What was the big deal about opening that door out on the balcony? I'm back inside trying to beat that darned computer arcade puzzle. Do you ever have the need to pick up all those packages laying around?

No, that's the weird thing that looked like a washing machine that needed the four knobs and then needed a four digit numerical code to open. That gave me the last apple. I have yet to discover what the arcade game will reward me with (besides frustration, that is. smile

Oh LadyCav I've just done it. Woohoo but now puzzled with the numbers on the oven but gonna have a good look around must be some clue as to what numbers I need to input.

I think we can officially say going clockwise around the wheel the puzzle can't be completed.

Congrats ritchiesbabe!!!
So glad you got it!

I'm in chapter 5 now, and can't recall the oven. Do you mean the thing that needs four knobs and then a four digit numerical code?

If that's the one, post when you need help. I can help with that part if you don't get it figured out.

Good Luck! smile

EDIT:Okay, the picture puzzle of the guy in the business suit in chapter 5, is really eating my lunch, as we say down here in the south. I always end up with two or three squares left over. I cannot find the correct path, grrr.

If anyone else gets to that puzzle, would you please write down your solution as you go along and pass it along??

shilo.... try backing out of the puzzle and then come into it again. If need be, close the game out completely, wait a moment, and restart the game, and see if that works.

Okay, I'm in the puzzle now. Wow, what the bleep are we trying to accomplish here?!?! I see what you all mean now. Give me a while to play with it.

Edit to add..... forgot to say THANK YOU!!! That solution worked for the guy in the business suit.... many thanks!

I swear I don't know what we're supposed to accomplish, mnv83.

The two pipes on the right go to the underground plate to that open hatch down below. Do we keep the supposed water from reaching there? The source of the water, if it is water, seems to come from the bottom left, but along which pipes it is supposed to travel?

The pictorial clue tells me nothing. I even wrote down all those Roman Numerals in screen 1 - the boat dock and screen two - the fountain room, and tried to "number" the valve connections. No Luck.

Any ideas on your end????

Okay, that makes sense. Good call, Shilo! I'll go try again.

EDIT: Oh wow! Bravo!

Number the valve connections in rows, top row left to right, then next, and such and tell us!

Edit to add:

Top row has 3 connections,
Middle row has 2 connections,
Bottom row has 5 connections.

ok ignore the top row
-at the 1st connection in the 2nd row put a medium sized one
-and at the 2nd put the smallest one
-row 3 only has 1 valve connection on it..put a big one there
-on the very bottom row on the very right side put the other medium size one (connection 5) and right beside it put the big one (connection 4)

sorry its hard to describe if it doesn't work i'll try reexplaining it smile

EDIT: i don't know how to do print screen on my PC...i see the abbrev PRT SC but its the second option on my top row of buttons on my keyboard just don't know how to get it lol

Yep, that's it! Finished, finally!

Nice touch at the end with the dozen or more tv screens. (don't want to spoil it for others).

That was a challenging game!! Very cool and glad I bought it and stuck with it!

Now to go finish those chores I've been ignoring.

Thanks so very much for all your help, guys/gals. You've been real troopers and it was a pleasure!

Note: I've taken notes and written down the locations of all the special items that needed to be found for anyone else having problems.

Casting your minds waaaaay back to chapter 2, do you recall any incredibly obscure ball-locations, for the elevator that has the triangle from the ship?

I can't find a single one anywhere frown Not on the three overground areas, nor the underground home and its little cubbies.

I'm in the chapter where an old man, underground, envisions a machine. I'm trying to build the machine and have attached 12 of the 13 parts. I can't find the last part.. it's circular and attacherd to ther middle of the machine. Can any one help? Thanks in advance.

they're everywhere in the open, i don't remember the exact locations but i now theres one on the elevator things itself on the top a green one and beside it is 2 empty spots. theres a blue one in the celler of the old mans place, and theres one in the old mans cubboard, two blue ones on top a lightpost, and the signal lights by the train track all have one on them too...i can't really remember any others :S

Sorry for the delay, folks, thunderstorms knocked my power out for a few hours.

gamil... can you tell me what shape the 12 of 13 parts are? My handwritten notes say find 10 suitcases or ten fishing sinkers and such.

elgordo78, the balls are all over the place if it is the task to find 24 balls and then the middle ball with the triangle in it for the elevator. Look on the ground, on the lights for the train train tracks, in the trees, in the grass, on roofs, in cabinets and on chairs in the underground room, on lamp posts, open metal cabinets, containers and window hatches. They are green, blue and orange.

Post again with specific shapes and details and I'll look through my notes again, if the thunderstorms will stay away.

CAUTION: SPOILERS BELOW

Click to reveal..
Location of 24 balls for Elevator Puzzle in Chapter 2:

At first location, far left screen before elevator:

1. & 2. Two blue balls on lamp post, left
3. & 4. 2 orange balls to right of lamp post
5. green ball in horn above water wheel
6. green ball in base of lamp post (open with switch by train tracks)
7. blue ball behind lamp post by train tracks
8. orange ball inside vacuum cleaner shaped thingey in center screen
9. green ball in hatch, upper part of round building
10. green ball in train track light, far right
11. orange ball in train track light, far right

In underground room, with little man:

12. orange ball on cabinet shelf
13. blue ball in cabinet (open door)
14. orange ball on chair
15. orange ball in chest
16. blue ball in basement
17. blue ball in medicine cabinet

At far right location by train and elevator:

18. blue ball in roof over train
19. green ball in tree to left of airplane pic
20. green ball in grass below train
21. green ball on antenna above elevator control box
22. blue ball bottom right near battery on elevator control box
23. green ball - left of three holes above elvator battery device

LadyCav,
I think I described the location poorly. I am trying to put together a machine of some sort from parts randomly scattered around this specific scene: flasks, pipes, coil, etc. This device was "thought of" by an elderly man in a tunnel beneath one of the main screens. (There are 3 screens to scroll though at this point), the first of which has a draw bridge and waterfall. I can't find the part which is round and centrally located on the machine as seen in the "help" diagram. Thanks for any help. OOPS! I just found it. It was on the "help" diagram.

I just flew in on a plane. And there is a 8 ball and was wondering what chapter I'm in. Trying to find the key to the boat. Been through every door and to the top with the old man. Thanks

Hi Richard,

You are in chapter 4 of 5 chapters.

I think you have quite a bit to do before you can get the key. That's way towards the end of chapter 4.

There are all those fishing sinkers that are lying about once you have clicked on the trigger that tells you that you need to collect them.

You might notice little geometric shapes everywhere as well. You will be collecting all of those and completing a puzzle with them to get the key to the boat.

I have one each to collect ,fishing sinkers, geometric shapes I think I used the round thing next to the 8 ball.,I already have the dice and used them. I don't have any more puzzles to solve, and some other things to get. The hint is charged but no help.

I added the list to my above post, Richard.
But my notes only list locations of items.
I didn't write down what I clicked to tell me the next task.
You'll have to wander about and click on things to activate new tasks.
The little boats puzzle is on the wall in the teapot room. Finish all tasks and find all jigsaw pieces before you use the boat key.

Hi Itskurk, and welcome. smile

That's hard to describe, but let me try from my notes.

The yellow boat goes over left, then down nearly to the bottom, then right once, then down once, and then across to the right till you can go up to its matching boat.

The red one goes over to the right, then down once, and then right two or three times (or rocks), then up until you can go right to its matching boat.

The green boat goes all the way to the top, then across to the right, down once, then right once, then down till you can turn left to meet its matching boat.

The blue boat can then go straight up and to the right to meet its matching boat.

You'll have to play around with this, Itskurk. I didn't draw rocks on my notes, just lines. So it may be one rock down, or two rocks across, but hopefully this will give you an idea.

Lise, I only vaguely remember that puzzle, and I didn't make any notes on it. Is that map in the apple store where the lady was behind the counter? I clicked on the blue question mark for the pictorial hint, and that gave me the arrangement of the colors, if it's the one I'm thinking of. Sorry to not be of more help. (The apples part is chapter 3 of 5).

Ok, that's the one I was thinking of. You have to spin the circles around till you get all of one color on the left, another on the right, etc., just like you were saying. It may be random as to what colors go where, just go by the color in your pictorial hint. I think my colors were different than yours. May take some doing, but it's doable. Good luck with it!

gamil, when you finish that globe puzzle, next to that device, you get a metal plate with holes in it. Click that metal plate on the paper on the table on the right side of the screen. You'll see a whole code full of numbers. The first two numbers are there for you and you only need to figure out the last two. I puzzed and puzzed over the pictorial hint, and then just went to the puzzle and put in the first two numbers and by process of elimination came up with the last two numbers. You can try it on your own. It's very easy to get the answer.

If you can't get it, here's what my answer was, assuming that it isn't a random puzzle.

Click to reveal..
4 digit numerical code: 3 1 3 2

Good Luck!

The secret to that puzzle is subtraction. You have to solve the code panel fiirst and look at the columns. THe first two are done for you. Take the top number, subtract the one underneath and your answer is the number you use on the "safe".

I got help with this as well. mnv83 told me to go one down, then left, then go up around the head and on the right side, down towards the bottom and ending up on the left side. Going one down was the key before turning left. That 'one down' square was the one that kept getting me every time.

Go upstairs and click on the checkerboard.

Richard, just look at each checker piece and match the corresponding letters and numbers. Go across from the checker piece and find the letter or number, and then go down from that same checker piece and repeat. You might have A1, B2, C3, etc. Then look at the safe and match your code with the correct code at the top by the red arrow.

It was a cute game and worth the money, I just wish it would have been more like Machinarium than a HOG.

Phew - finished!

Annoyed at myself that I didn't see here about finding all the pieces before unlocking the boat on Ch4, but that's life eh.
I also didn't figure out how to make the lamp that appears on the CCTV to look like a compass interact with the machine upstairs on that level.

Anyway - a few screen-shots now follow that may help on some puzzles. I'm "lucky" enough to use Steam so the screen-shots were easy to take wink

The folder as a whole is here, and contains spoilers. They were also accessed as minigames on the grid that is available after you complete, rather than in the process of completing the game.
http://elgordo78.imgur.com/tiny_bang_story

First up - the fishing floater jigsaw puzzle. It's been said there is a randomness to it, but mine matches a previous one here exactly. I also noticed that the hint is not crystal clear all the way but is essentially a mirror image of the actual puzzle, so if people don't want to see the solved puzzle, start with that. It'll only take you halfway but it's a start.
Hint image: http://elgordo78.imgur.com/kIPwG.jpg
Solved puzzle: http://elgordo78.imgur.com/Nx8nx.jpg

An earlier puzzle (chapter 2?) for which you collect the little red stopcock valve-tops that look like cartoon beeny-hat propellers... and you then rotate the pieces.
Solved puzzle: http://elgordo78.imgur.com/qtiKi.jpg

Chapter 3, colour-chart puzzle solved. Well, 1 step away on the green, with the bottom 2 needing to be switched (it fades too fast to a success picture to take it of the actual puzzle completed). http://i.imgur.com/yq7j4.jpg

Chapter 4, boat-pin puzzle. I'm not sure it's different every time - might just be different per game/install, because mine is the same each time.
Here is mine, solved: http://elgordo78.imgur.com/87fA5.jpg

Chapter 4, baggage puzzle - solved: http://elgordo78.imgur.com/1smdR.jpg

Chapter 5, secure-safe combination lock, solution - this may differ for you, depends on... (see spoiler further up wink ) - let us know?: http://elgordo78.imgur.com/zckV2.jpg

Chapter 5, pipes puzzle. I admit I followed an earlier solution in this thread how to solve it (see here, directly copied - http://elgordo78.imgur.com/aWPIs.jpg) but it appears the selection of size of valve-wheel onto valve-point doesn't matter, just their positions. See here for confirmation - http://elgordo78.imgur.com/soptY.jpg ... For those not wanting to look at images and spoilers, wanting to solve it themselves but in need of a clue - look here (in case it's still classed as a spoiler!):
Click to reveal..
From what I can tell tracing back, the aim is to make it so that the flow of blue fluid hidden in the pipes cannot make it to either of the two exits on the right.

If anyone is compiling a full walkthrough and wants screen-shots of every screen in default untouched mode I'm prepared to blank the game and begin again, and do that... Then perhaps someone can doodle little arrows on to point at things as necessary smile

The apples in the shop are not the ones you need to collect. They are hidden in other areas.

Hi Twiztidly... if you will go upstairs and look at the checkerboard on the table, you'll find the hint for the safe. It's pretty easy to figure out.

I felt sure I missed picking up some puzzle pieces in this game it couldn't be helped cos it just skipped me onto the next chapter. I was wondering did you get a different ending if you got all the puzzle pieces?

I didn't think it would let you move on if you didn't find them all. THe ending was really nothing that made any sense to me.

Click to reveal..
They are all just sitting there in a room together and you have access to the puzzles to do again.

My sister has just started playing this game after I have finished and she is stuck at the circle wheel puzzle where the colours, green, purple and yellow have to be lined up by turning the circles.

Even though i have played the game through I can't for the life of me complete this puzzle for her. Someone please help as I am feeling very silly! smile

I'm also at the same spot as your sister, Ritchiesbabe, and can't get past the rotating globe puzzle. I must have spun those globes 100 times and can't get them to come out right. Is the solution just random? Or are you supposed to spin the right side so many times and the left side so many times. If so, has anyone who's completed it have an idea? help

I had some trouble with that one also. I just kept clicking on the right and left side and finally got it. About ten minutes I guess.

Hi Tammy,

As far as I know, the two places you can download the game from at the present time are Steam and GamersGate. wave

Well I've completed it Ewil02 and I honestly think this one was just pure chance I thought I'd been lucky to complete it as quickly as I did when I went through. I think I did twist it a few times to the right and a few to the left first time but in which order I have no idea.

I think it helped that I hadn't figured out what to do for a few minutes having a blonde moment haha.

My sister handed the laptop to me when she got up to it and I was there a while and couldn't for the life of me do it tho obviously I knew I had done it. Frustrating. Just have to keep trying I guess.

Linda, I'm really sorry, but because this is a casual game I don't think it's possible to share saved games. Unfortunately there is no skip button either. I realize how frustrating this must be. Wish I had better news for you. frown wave

pffff....to bad, Can you tell me... is it not possible to save a game from a casual game, like a adventure game ? If I can find someone to help me at my own PC here at home , is it possible to save the Arcade games?

Linda, if you can find someone to help you play on through the arcade games, the game will automatically save past the arcade game and you won't have to hassle with that part of the game again. Whether or not it would be possible to "capture" a saved game from a casual game and keep it for the future - someone else better informed on this subject will hopefully respond here - that might be possible, depending upon the game. wave

linda, Marian is correct. The game auto saves and writes over the same saved game each time.

I hope you can find someone to get you past the part.

I'm an advocate of including a "skip" button in all casual games for scenes that require greater manual dexterity/reflexes. I noticed that you were having problems with Green Moon, Linda, for the same reasons. If you ever download and play a game from Big Fish Games, I recommend that you check out the forum for the game first, as you might be able to determine from reading some posts whether or not the game has arcade elements and whether or not a skip button is included. This might save you from this sort of frustration in the future. flowers wave

I am also a big advocate of including a Skip button, Marian. So frustrating when you have purchased a game, and have to abandon it for this very reason! taz

the problem is that most of the better HO games don't have a skip button,I have MC Dire grove, a great game and you can skip most of the puzzle's if you like. I don"t like most of the cheap HO game's, they are mostly boring. I have MC 13 th skull also, but in this Mystery Case game you can"t skip, but its also a good game I think ( still have to play it).

If I remember correctly, 13th Skull does have a skip button - it just takes a while to show up. I believe that it eventually appears where it initially says "hint." I hope you enjoy it. wave

Hi ToadflaxLane, and welcome to GameBoomers. smile

I haven't played this game, but I'm wondering if you are aware that there are a series of video walkthroughs for this game on YouTube?

Maybe these videos will shed some light on the subject; if not, hopefully a player of this game will come along who is able to advise you. wave

welcome to GameBoomers ToadflaxLane! If the firefly can't tell you, it is hidden in something. I played when it was first released so I am rusty on the details. You may need to open a compartment or move something to find it.
