Yes, I do see what you mean. It just seemed - well, unfair - to use Dark Fall: The Journal for comparison. That game was frankly a huge disappointment to me. I never did try it on Win 7. Rather, I played it on XP, shortly after it was released; and, in spite of the fact that I had the latest and best graphic card, the graphics were so poor even on my XP. To say nothing of the storyline or game design. Next Life played the best on Win 7, but I did have crashes with Everlight. In fact, Belief & Betrayal played as well as Next Life. The only problem was that, for some reason, my keyboard would not respond, which is why I couldn't use Esc to go to the Main Menu or the Spacebar to see if I might have missed an interactive object. And I did mention that the game wanted to install its own version of DirectX but, for some reason, failed to do so. So I wonder if the problem was, not so much with the game, but that additional installation failure... What do you think?
