Great! I agree. The game is very good. I stopped playing and eager to get back to see the ending now.

I see that Interact has it for $34.95 which I am sure is a fair price however my game credit card is just about maxxed out so I guess I will wait and see if I can get it in a trade or from a gamer who wants to sell it a little cheaper...glad you enjoyed the game.

I was enjoying it more before it started preaching to me about nuclear power

Been adventure gaming for 30 years - who can remember the Very Big Cave Adventure?

Aie, how preachy does this game get? I don't mind a point of view, but I don't want to be lectured on how bad of a person I am when I'm playing an adventure game.

It is not preachy at all. Well, I don't feel preached on. smile
It is mostly how to save the world and prevent a disaster. In this case, the disaster is caused by nuclear accident.
The solution is more complex than that: mostly, how to change things, save the solution, save the creator of the solution and prevent the disaster.

I am also interested in picking up this title. Can someone who likes this game gives some more details about why this game is so good? I heard a lot of praises, but I like to know a bit more (without spoilers, obviously).

Also, how are the puzzles?

Yes, dragon. Saw what appeared.

GrandmaKate, In retrospect, yes, there is a certain "preachiness" to the story. Since it is one of the main part of the story, I took it as an enhancement to the tension of the game.

Dave, There are psychological twists woven in the game. I got pulled in by the storyline. To me, all the puzzles are relevant to the story. The game made me want to convince someone to believe and want to survive. It is very fastpaced game.

Oh! A game about nuclear power? Sounds like it's right up my alley. I remember the Three Mile Island accident back in March 1979, and in the months that followed (and for the next few years afterward) I've wanted to play a game like this, so having no computers at that time, I used to play TMI by riding my bike up at the atomic plant a mile up from our house, sometimes accompanied by my sister.

Why isn't there any reviews here about it here on GB?

A review is coming up. The game just released in disk form in the UK, and it takes awhile for the mail to reach us here in the US!

I just ordered a copy of ANB from Dave, and I live in West Mifflin, Pa. Does anyone have any idea of how long the game will take to get here at our house, especially knowing that Dave ships fast?

Unfortunately you are at the mercy of the post office. Dave will get it out immediately but it depends on how quickly the PO moves aftrer that. He has no control. Three days would seem about right if the PO is moving it along.
