hmmm....passion between Sherlock and Watson? I always suspected something there, Ana. This doesn't surprise me. Thanks for the link, MaG! Very interesting interview! Looking forward to the game!

Watson is a married man.
I think Holmes fakes his death. If not in this game the next game will end up revealing that this is what happened.

Just for clarity of canon: Watson was a married man for only a very brief time during his association with Holmes. His first wife died after just a few years of marriage (during the Great Hiatus of 1891-1894), and Watson's "mysterious" second wife appears very much later on in the stories, and is only mentioned the once. This would have been early 1900s.

First off I'd like to say...WOW...GotGame is back! Excellent upgrade to their web site and so glad to see they are still in business. And Video Interviews are fantastic. I hope they continue with them. Nice to put a face with Wael. I am very confused as to what Wael said here... There will be 3 Camera Modes 1st Person 3rd Person Point and Click The player can choose which way they want to play What the heck could that mean? I was glad to here him say that the next game after Testament is already in progress. Welcome back GotGame & good luck to Wael and his team.

"I always suspected something there, Ana. This doesn't surprise me."
Well, it does me. I find it odd that anyone would think a deep and abiding friendship between two men or two women isn't possible without sexual overtones. Nor do I think Conan Doyle would approve of the direction Wael's story appears to be taking. It's not in character for him any more than it is for Holmes, in my opinion.
Well, maybe I'm wrong. Maybe the canon is full of evidence to support Wael. It's just never jumped out at me.

Gil, there's nothing in any line of dialogue from Testament of Sherlock Holmes that hints at anything sexual or romantic between Holmes and Watson. Can't really say anything more than that, but don't worry.

Hello everyone, thanks for the nice comments, and we have 3 camera modes in the game : - point and click and first person like in our 3 last games (Awakened, Lupin and Jack) - one more like Oliver in 80 days, for console players or pad users anyone can play the way he/she wants about the sexual stuff, that's a joke of course I think I stated the sex scene is in the 19th century style, it means...nothing. About the design of Holmes and Watson, we made the decision to change them for good reasons, you'll see that when you play the game. About Watson raising his gun against Holmes, yes it's true, and for good reasons as well

Whew....thanks for the clarification Wael. I don't think I had ever heard point & click refered to as a camera mode thus my confusion. I am happy to hear "point and click and first person like in our 3 last games (Awakened, Lupin and Jack)". This is the only way to "play AS" Sherlock as opposed to "play" Sherlock (3rd person. I am interested as to how the over the shoulder view will look and play. Am I right to assume that in this Camera Mode we will have to use a controller and not the mouse or maybe both? And thank you and your team for all the hard work in giving the gamer all these different angles to play. I can only imagine it is not easy.

Thanks for the info, Wael. I got that you meant the sexual stuff as a joke. Looking forward to seeing what you're going to do with the characters. It sounds very intriguing. Also, really appreciate the fact that you can still choose between first and third person. I have always preferred third because I like seeing my character, so it's nice to have that option. And of course, it's great that so many other players have the option to choose the method they would prefer as well. Thanks again for all your hard work on this game. Looking forward to playing it!
