German publisher and developer Daedalic Entertainment will be the exclusive publisher, in most major European territories, of Botanicula, the new title from Czech studio Amanita Design, makers of
Machinarium.
Telling a wonderful story without words is the great art of Amanita Design.
Botanicula takes the player to a fairy-tale world of plants,where he helps five tree creatures on a quest to save their home’s last seed from a pack of evil parasites.
Each of the five protagonists has unique skills, which have to be combined in many different ways throughout the game.
The lovingly hand-crafted point & click adventure allows the player to interact with their surroundings to often surprising effect. Atmospheric music and sounds from the Czech band Dva underscore the fantastic experience.
The adventure game Botanicula will be released in
Q1 of 2012 for Windows PC and Mac.
Daedalic will publish the game in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, the United Kingdom, Scandinavia, Benelux, France,Spain, Portugal, Italy and Greece.
