Has anyone got a save game to get me past the rain dance please - I can only see out of one eye (truly!) & can't watch the screen & the keyboard at the same time!

Hi traveler - thank you so much for the save game. I've copied & pasted it into the BoUT savegame folder in documents but it's not showing up in the game - I must have done something wrong - help please!

Did you renumber it, Chrissie?

Did you change the number of the .ksg file to be the last one in the series of saved games you have, chrissie? My save is 19 but if your last saved game was 12, you'll have to change the number to 13. (Sorry if you knew that.) Otherwise, I'm at a loss.

Hi traveler & Rushes, I did change the number to follow my last save game so I can't think why it won't work. Anyway, thank you traveler, I appreciate you sending the save - it should have been straight forward - the only thing I can think of is I'm on Win7 64 bit - would that make a difference?

No, I have Win7, 64 bit, too. Hmmm, I can't imagine. I've sent this save to a few other people and it worked. You suppose only saves from Rushes or MaG do the trick for a Gameboomer? (Yeah, I know, I'm silly.)

Wish I could solve this for you, chrissie. Maybe if you do it the hard way, not looking down at your fingers but memorizing where they are while you're frantically dancing you can get through it. I know I couldn't watch my fingers.

That is odd. Did you keep the .ksg extension the same, separated by the full stop?

Did you scroll back to the very beginning of your saves in the game-load screen, as they are likely to be in date order?

Hi Rushes, I didn't tamper with anything except the number of the save - the.ksg extension is the same as all the other saves & I've just checked the date & time order which seems to follow I'm baffled!

You closed out of the game completely before you added that save, right? I mean, you don't have it open on your computer while you're doctoring the save file?

You left the number bang up against savegame, right? i.e., savegame44.ksg?

I know, but I'm trying to think! Not always easy.

Thanks you for the suggestions - I can be dozey! but I had closed the game down & checked the savegames again & everything seems to be as it should - I even rebooted!

If its any help, I renumbered the game as instructed but I didn't show in order it showed up at the beginning of the saves, it took me a while to work it out by looking at the titles of the saves and finding one which I didn't remember naming.

Thank you for your input monbron, I've just had a look at all of the saves in the actual game - they're one's I made & they're all dated & timed.

Relabel it first at desktop before adding it to the folder. See if that works.

I relabelled the save first on the desktop MaG - the game's not having it! So, as I said to traveler, there must be a small setting adjustment to be made somewhere. Thank you so much for your help traveler, MaG & monbron - I think I'm going to have to dance. I've never had a problem in the past with saves so I don't know what??????



EDIT: WHAT A COMPLETE DIV I AM!!!!!!!!!! Both saves worked when I discoverd that I could scroll down further on the menu page - I expected the last save to be at the top as they were in order Thank you! thank you! all saves worked! (I'm just going to humbly retreat for a while)

Aw, chrissie, I can't tell you the number of times I've felt like a complete idiot over some tiny thing I missed. Don't you dare stay gone for long!

That's wonderful that you did it. Good job!

I got through the rain dance by pressing BOTH arrow keys that were shown at the same time as they went through the bracket things. I got a couple wrong, but it was nice and let me finish! Hope this helps anyone who's stuck.
