Mad, you're on the right page. You have to select either the HQ or the LQ square under the Select Site Quality option. Either one will give you a menu with a list of options on the top. One of the options should be Download. Click on it, and the SQ2 download should be there.

Yes. smile It does for me anyway, and I have Win 7 64 bit. Though I did have to tweak it a little bit to get it to work, as it wouldn't start initially. During the game setup, under Graphics Filter, I had to change 3x nearest-neighbor filter to 4x nearest-neighbor filter. Another filter may have worked as well, but since the game started working immediately for me after that, I didn't play around with anything else.

No problems for me either on Win 7 64 bit. From what I read, I think Venus' issue had to do with the capabilities of the video hardware rather than the OS.

Yes. I did download it, venus, but after all that, Norton promptly removed it - saying it was "unsafe" !! lol

["False positive" though, is what I've gathered from other Norton users snicker]

Is there a walkthrough for this remake ? I click on the game manual at the download site and it says coming soon. I hope someone can help.

Mad, sorry to hear that. Does that mean you can't play the game? Can you disable Norton until the game's installed, or will it delete the game no matter what once you enable it again?

Hi venus smile

I have so many unplayed games at the moment that I've not yet bothered to investigate further but maybe I will look into it if I start to get low on games whistle

Just d/l-ed it, folks. I chose the remake that bore the 256 color graphics rather than the cartoony graphics.

Oh, on hindsight, I made a mistake - I thought it was Cosmos Quest 2, not Space Quest. I'm not a Space Quest fan, I'd rather play Cosmos Quest instead. I have all the d/l's backed up somewhere, possibly on a flash drive or my mac's external HDD Time Machine backups, have to get it out one day maybe tomorrow or Sunday and burn all my free game d/l's to a CD or DVD.
