Yes. It does for me anyway, and I have Win 7 64 bit. Though I did have to tweak it a little bit to get it to work, as it wouldn't start initially. During the game setup, under Graphics Filter, I had to change 3x nearest-neighbor filter to 4x nearest-neighbor filter. Another filter may have worked as well, but since the game started working immediately for me after that, I didn't play around with anything else. No problems for me either on Win 7 64 bit. From what I read, I think Venus' issue had to do with the capabilities of the video hardware rather than the OS.

Yes. I did download it, venus, but after all that, Norton promptly removed it - saying it was "unsafe" !! ["False positive" though, is what I've gathered from other Norton users ]

Is there a walkthrough for this remake ? I click on the game manual at the download site and it says coming soon. I hope someone can help.

Hi venus I have so many unplayed games at the moment that I've not yet bothered to investigate further but maybe I will look into it if I start to get low on games

Just d/l-ed it, folks. I chose the remake that bore the 256 color graphics rather than the cartoony graphics.
Oh, on hindsight, I made a mistake - I thought it was Cosmos Quest 2, not Space Quest. I'm not a Space Quest fan, I'd rather play Cosmos Quest instead. I have all the d/l's backed up somewhere, possibly on a flash drive or my mac's external HDD Time Machine backups, have to get it out one day maybe tomorrow or Sunday and burn all my free game d/l's to a CD or DVD.
