my virtual pc keeps saying i am missing files what do i do, require parameter files are missing. what do i do.

If Virtual PC is giving you this error when you're installing it, try redownloading the install file for it.

Or do you mean you're getting the missing files error when you try installing Windows inside of Virtual PC?

What are you booting from? Are you using the floppy image that Steve linked to or are you booting from a Windows disc?

Can you post an image of that? Virtual PC requires an operating system. Did you install one?

"SYS C" is a command that can only be entered after the hard drive has been formatted. Did you format the virtual drive?

So, you installed Virtual PC and then installed Windows 95? By default it will go to My Documents/My Virtual Machines - is that where it is?

It should not have, but none the less, did it create a .VHD and .VMC?

Is this Virtual PC 2007?

Point me to the instructions you're using (he has these: Metzo's setup ) - and tell me what step you are on.

You can't use SYS C until you've formatted the drive.

Edit -

And you can't format the drive until after the partition is created.
