Am playing Alter Ego currently, hope to finish the game tonight, so now I'm wondering if these main characters - Tim Moore, Det Briscol, etc, and the places mentioned - the Salted Cheek Pub, Cemetary, Police Station, Theatre, etc, and everything that took place in the game is based on a true account that happened in the 1890's, or if it's all fiction?

Am so fascinated by this game so far.

Does it say anything in the credites about it being real or fiction? Hopefully someone who knows for sure can answer but the a google search of those places only point to the game.
