The letters of the answer to the first part of the clue can be transposed to form the answer of the second half of the clue. If you find the first part of the clue is elusive then move on to the second part and work your way backwards

wink

Example: transpose a garment into a tiresome person -> robe - bore

All solutions are 4 letter words.

Transpose...

- 1. a twin into a praise
- 2. a jump into an appeal
- 3. horse hair into an identity
- 4. a window into a neck part
- 5. speed into a rip
- 6. a fraud into a banister
- 7. a charitable gift into a loud noise
- 8. a blemish into a locking device
- 9. a great deal into an associate
- 10. a monetary unit into a symbol
