I tried reinstalling this and when I go to launch the game an error comes up:
sci: Missing dll. Please reinstall Social Club. Info: socialclub.dll
I found the social club setup on disk one, but when I go to install it, a message comes up:
A newer version 1.0.6.1 installed for Rockstar Games Social Club. Exiting installation.
Any ideas?

I installed the whole game from the disk and installed the social club. I didn't have to look for the social cub on the disk. You don't have to join the club if you don't want to. Game ran perfect. I've used the revo uninstaller on different games and it uninstall everying even in the reg. It's free to. You should try it.

Have you checked with google on how to fix Missing dll.

Did you use Revo Uninstaller?
Alternatively you could use Add/Remove Programs to uninstall and run a registry cleaner after uninstalling.

I would also try a fresh install and then you could try downloading the update for Social Club on this page:

Social Club Update

I'd download the update that is a 3-meg file.
