Man, I wish I could play RPGs. This looks fantastic. Game of Thrones Are any of you planning to play it so I can live vicariously? grin

I've seen the first series of the story on tv and I've read the first four books. A very suspenseful series. I'll be very interested to purchase this.

I like the HBO series and if the game has good controls and is easy to play I would definitely be interested. I sure do like the look of it.

Traveler, I think I'll adopt a 'wait and see' attitude on this one. I love the book series, and the graphics on this one are certainly impressive. But, I noticed that this game is done by Cyanide Studios, who also did the strategy game (Game of Thrones-Genesis) which wasn't too well received by the reviewers.

Oh, boy. If this game lives up to any of the books and the TV series, it will be a definite buy for me.

Thanks for the great news Traveler. I have read the books and seen season 1 on TV and think that it is superbly done. I always thought that they should do an RPG of it and here it is. Can't wait. bravo

It's an instant miss for me with the requirement that players post "likes" on Facebook to open up new areas. I don't do Facebook.

Last year when we watched the HBO series I thought the opening graphics looked remarkably like an RPG. Now I know why.

hagatha,

I won't have anything to do with Facebook either but I thought that asking you to post 'likes' simply meant they wanted more of them on Facebook to indicate interest in the game before they'd add new videos to be watched on their site. Silly of them. I think there are a lot of people who avoid Facebook like the plague.

I hope the game isn't dependent on Facebook. Like Traveler, I thought it was only to indicate interest in the game. I am not a Facebook user either.

I might be wrong, not understanding how some these newfangled things work. grin I'd certainly give it a shot otherwise.

That's it exactly, hagatha. I went to the site again and clicked on 'next' on the page right after the intro. They want people to like them on Facebook and send the counter up before they'll unlock the next previews. As if.

Not gonna happen here either... And I do some limited use of Facebook. What I find for some of this stuff is that you have to give up some of your information first. Don't know if this one requires that, but I'm not going to even find out!
