Penny Lane Settled Boomer Registered: 06/16/07 Posts: 702 Loc: Michigan	I installed all of my early ND games on windows7 and only Ghost Dogs Of Moon Lake works. Among those that don't play are Treasure In The Royal Tower, Stay Tuned For Danger, The Haunted Carousel, and Danger On Deception Island. I haven't tried any others yet. I get an error message. Does anybody know why? Is there a fix? _________________________ How can the world end in 2012 If Marty McFly showed up in 2015? Marlene aka Penny Lane (Paul McCartney fan)

InlandAZ Glitches Forum Moderator BAAG Specialist Registered: 08/14/02 Posts: 5905 Loc: Arizona	From your description it sounds like the DirectX 9.0c libraries weren't installed with the game (or were bypassed). DirectX 11 and 9.0c can both be installed on a Windows 7 PC, so there's no need to worry about corrupting it. You can download the Web installer at the link below - DirectX End-User Runtime Web Installer

Apparently there are some folks on Windows 7 who can't get Secrets to Kill or Stay Tuned for Danger to run well or at all (sound problems included). The other games should present no problems. Her Interactive has discontinued Stay Tuned for Danger due to its incompatibilities for a lot of folks with Win 7 - if you can't get that one to run, know that you are not alone; you might need to use an older computer on that one. You should be good to go on the rest; you can always play the Remastered version of Secrets Can Kill.

I started Stay Tuned For Danger (only the opening sequence) and it seemed to run ok but I haven't gotten into the game yet.
