I remember buying this game some time ago. It was a boxed game, and I threw it out along with my other boxed games. I thought of "Amerzone" many times as being one of my favorites. I'm delighted to see it again and I'm definitely buying it. I was never disappointed in any Sokal games. Thank you, BFG. Teddo

Part 1? There only ever was one part wasnt there? They havent split the game up (it was a smallish to start with IIRC) so they can charge people nearly 8 quid a pop have they?

It's a classic adventure that in the GameBoomers Hall of Fame. That's great that it's available on Big Fish, and Windows 7 is one of the supported OSes! woot

chrissie, don't buy it. I checked the forums and this really is only a part of the game and a very short one, at that. I think it's just the beginning segment in the lighthouse.

Take newgames suggestion and get it on GOG.

Yes it does have a stink about it. It may be a classic but this just a rip off by the looks. They're bare-faced I give them that.

It is great that it's on Big Fish. What is not so great is that if they are releasing it one chapter at a time as someone on the BF forum suggests and that there are 6 chapters in the game then that means it will cost in total <consults fingers> the princely sum of £46.20 or, to give you an idea in dollars - $68.69 which is way beyond what it cost originally. No woots for me I'm afraid:-)

Thank you for the warning traveler! & I agree with your comments mj2c. There are so many AGs released in full on BF, whose idea would it be to release this one in parts? shocked I think I'll just stick to my PS1 version for now.

You could of course download the 1 hour trial and, by what people are saying you will have finished it before the hour is up;-)

You can download the whole game, DRM-free, from either GOG or DotEMU for only $9.99. The only thing extra you might get from Big Fish is their customer service, who will give you credit for another game if you have problems and they can't help you get the game working.

I actually think this is the whole game. At least from what they describe in the description for "Part 1". Return the egg? Isn't that the end of the whole game?
Guess it would be nice to be sure.....

Check the forums, cazziejoe. One person mentions finishing it in 45 minutes. However, if you're not sure, post there and ask if it's the whole game. I don't think so.

I bought Amerzone as a download from the MacGameStore last month. It had never been available for Macs as a hard copy, and I'm really looking forward to playing it. Several other Keops games are also available for Intel Macs now.
