Hi Robert --

I haven't played this one, but I took a peek at the walkthrough. Wow, it looks complex! I'm not sure how to describe it.

Are you trying to avoid looking at the walkthrough?

Check Malcolm Schmidt's walkthrough HERE for comparison with MaG's. It also has a step by step.

Robert,

You see this puzzle:
\

1. You have to select 3 scripts on the left that corresponds to 3 scripts on the paper at right.
What you chose will appear at the center column.
2. If you click 'Add to Message Pane, the word (translation of the 3 scripts you chose above) will appear at the bottom of the page.
3. Now you have to do the next word.
You have to select the NEXT (in order) 3 correct scripts and then click 'Add to Message Pane' to make another word or phrase.

And so on and so forth until you make the correct spell.

4. When all are translated correctly, click on the blue 'Save your result' that appears.

The walkthrough has the sequence of 3 scripts that you have to select. luck

The picture above the is LAST #17 Ogam triplet of the puzzle - NO it is not an example.

Your aim is to translate the Ogam from the paper at right. There are 17 triplets you need to work on.

Each Ogam script is made up of a triplet to form a word.

1. See the first triplet below #1 from the paper.
2. Look for and CLICK the triplets in order from the graph at left of the puzzle.
3. The selected triplet will show at center boxes.
4. click 'Add to Message Pane, the word (translation of the 3 scripts you chose above) will appear at the bottom of the page.
5. Do all the triplets.
6. When all triplets are translated correctly, click on the blue 'Save your result' that appears.

The numbers are the sequence of the triplets.
The brackets enclose the triplets.
Each triplet forms a word. For example; 1 is earth, 2 is water...

hi mag. bracket 1 - how do you get 'earth' out of this? according to the translating ogam script chart, the letter 'e' has 4 full bars across - not 5 as shown. robert.

mag. part of my problem is i find yours, malcolm's and the UHS walkthroughs difficult to read and make sense of: SORRY. robert. p.s. i have to go at snails pace and think completely before taking any action. i like your responses but take it slowly. my question to you still stands.

The Ogam scripts overlap from one script to the next one.
I don't remember seeing e with 4 full bars.

Did you select to use the blue Ogam Translator Program? This is in the second e-mail sent by Jon.

Earth:

Find and then click in order from top to bottom (in order) - the scripts on left column.

hi mag. i've reached save 100. the reason i checked is because i keep having to re-save the same game to reach the same point in the game. is there a finite number of saves? how can i overcome this? robert.

There might be only 100 slots for saved games.
Best to make a new folder and place COPIES of your saved games in there.
Then you can overwrite over those copied saved game numbers.

You are just keeping that #100 save file in a safe place. You do not use a shortcut or open it. If you want to use it again - take it out and place it back in its original place.

Now play the game and you can save anew by overwriting #100.
If you want to save more - keep earlier saved game files (maybe 1-20) in that new folder.
Then play and overwrite the 1-20 saved games.
If you want to use those original 1-20; keep the overwritten files in another folder and place back the original 1-20 in its place.

Hi robert,

Go to the side of the pond and face the house.
You will see the front door and to the left is a patio area.
Go to that patio area. You will now face 2 doors.
The one on the left is the boiler room.

Robert,

Follow the step by step stated by Rushes.

Face the front door with the pond on your back.
The patio is on the left side of the house.
Go there and check the left door.

Do NOT delete blindly.

Check the DATES and TIME you did that saved game file.

You still have not told me the extensions of your saved game file. It matters because my saved games do not work with other games that is released by another publishers.

What is the extension of your saved game files?
It is the one after the period of the file label.
Below the extension is RhiannonSavGG

Example: save000.RhiannonSavGG

Is it GG or another letters at the end?

See if you can renumber it as save020 - since you deleted that one.
Then scroll the load list and load #20.

Hi MaG
I'm having a problem with Rhiannon.
I'm trying to pick up the charm after
leaving the old barn, but i can't get the
down arrow to get the image of a dead body,
so I may get the charm.I must have missed a
step but i don't what.I did find all the twigs.
Thanks for any help.

Turn left before the holly tree that made the missing Rhiannon sick.
