Thanks, Ana. Played a few minutes of the demo and it looks to be another fun game in the Midnight Mysteries series; there are also clovers to collect (which unlock an unlimited hidden object mode) and ravens (which provide you with hints).

The previous Midnight Mysteries games were The Edgar Allan Poe Conspiracy, Salem Witch Trials, and Devil on the Mississippi. wave

Thanks Becky and Marian. Interesting, Marian, about unlocking unlimited hidden object mode. I really do enjoy HO scenes so this will suit me just right. thumbsup wave

I think you will enjoy the game, Bernie. I just replayed Devil on the Mississippi and still haven't found enough clovers to unlock the unlimited hidden object mode in that game; if you don't refer to the strategy guide, it's quite challenging to find them all.

Have fun. smile

In my opinion, this Deluxe feature is wonderful! Thanks to BFG for this. So many times, a guide the only thing worth having in a Collector's Edition, and now the game just stands on its own merits!

I'm going to buy this one without without a trial, since I love the series AND I want to vote with my cash for this feature and more of it!

I'm with you Cynder. I would've bought whatever Deluxe game this first time just to show my support and appreciation to BF. I kucked out that it is a really good game.

Marion, I played Missippi twice and still didn't find all the clovers. frown
Maybe I'll better luck this time.

Clovers? What clovers?lol I didn't even finish the Mississippi game. I found the story line confusing. I was also hoping there were actually more than 40 clovers, and that you only had to find 40 of them. That way if you missed a few, no biggie.

There was one clover that was on a door puzzle fairly early in the game. I spotted it just as I'd finished solving the puzzle and it was too late to go back and get it because I couldn't get the close-up of the door lock after solving.

EDIT: I finished the game last night and found 43 clovers. When I found 40 it popped up a message saying I'd unlocked the unlimited hidden object mode and that there were a total of 70 clovers in the game.

I'm playing the demo and can't find the emblem. Used a hint, crow flew to top leftside of my monitor and I still can't find it. Even changed my computer's resolution to larger, and still no luck. Am I the only one with this problem? Thanks.

Marian: I was not used to how the hints work. In other games, the crow (in this case), would lead you to the object. Finally realized it worked differently and found the emblem. Thanks.

I downloaded the trial version but had problems. I found all of the HO but one. The hint button didn't give me any hints (nothing happened) and the in-game help said I needed an object that wasn't on my screen as an object that I needed to find.

The plot was unusual. I wonder if they got inspiration from the musical. They ended the game with that old song from 1893, "Rosie, Sweet Rosabel" which was used in the musical.

Found the 40 clovers (there are 70) thanks to the guide. Have reached my first (and hope only) problem. Supposed to turn in 10 tickets for a token. Only have 9. Went back through the guide. Unless I missed one, or there's one before the circus, from the admission office, I count 9. Will go back and count again. Is there one before the circus?

Hi, bkrytr!

I'm almost positive all of the tickets are found within the circus. I was also missing one, so went through the SG and found the elusive 10th ticket.

Good luck!

I just looked over the technical support thread for this game on the BF forums and see a number of folks describing problems that sound similar to yours. One of the posts says that an update to the game to correct some glitches is expected to appear in the next week or so. I can't say for sure that your problem is a glitch, but it certainly sounds like it might be. Let's wait and see if anyone who has played the game has anything to add to this.

One person tried starting over the game with a new profile and was able to finish the game the second time around. wave

Thanks Marion. I did not find anything in the forums but proably did not look hard enough. This is a GREAT, Great Game for the first Delux one. I hope there is a glitch and a fix in the near future. The hidden objects were fairly difficult and the puzzels were were great and solveable.
Starting over in a new Profile is not an option that I want to have to use. I'll wait.

The game sounds great. I hope there will either be a solution to your problem or an update that fixes things, very soon. wave

I loved this game! I always liked everything written about Houdini. Also loved the movie.

Thanks all,
Patsy
