Can anyone send me a saved game around the time Ann enters the town after getting out of the Palace?

I resisted this game because of the not so impressive reviews and the buginess I read about.

I did install the patch and turned the animated cursor off.

I walked around the town - talked to the rug merchant, barber etc and am now completely frozen standing on the street - the cursor moves - Ann is standing there but absolutely no action can to be taken - no direction cursor etc.

I had to Ctrl-Alt-Delete out and good-bye to the game progress I made.

Thank you all.

sureshot,

Paradise is a difficult game to use a saved game for. You have to send your whole folder to another gamer and that gamer will play it for you and return it. frown

If you have technical problem, best to post at glitches and explain your problem and post your computer specs. luck

Thank you MaG.

I reloaded my latest save and re-played the game to get past that point. Tedious, especially all that dialog, - but I can now continue.

Wonderful.
I enjoyed this game esp the story except for the cage puzzle - that drove me nuts.

You are not alone. I'll lay odds somebody in the Microids crew laughs every time he thinks of a gamer going wild over that cage.

What's with this "cage" puzzle I keep hearing about?

When do I get to the cage puzzle? duh

I just got to the mining camp and did a little looking around and saved at this point.

The Sand Dabs I got pretty easily actually.

I have mixed feelings about the game so far - too much of the repetitive dialog and the cursor movement is terrible even with the patch and animations off. woozy

Hi all - I got through the cage puzzle ! It really wasn't that bad once I figured out how to "mouse" the swinging. yay

So now I'm stuck at the Black Vault - I got the furnace going but don't know what to do or where to go next. duh

sureshot,

After you lit the furnace, did you drain the water?

If not, go to the control panel across from the furnace.
