I realize that game developers can not build a perfect game that will work on all computers, operating systeme and different versions and different video cards. I buy all of my games fron Big Fish Games for very obvious reasons. One of those reasons is that BFG is very quick at fixing problems or glitches when they are happening to a lot of customers or just one customer. With that said I would like to address Updates or Rebuilds.
I think that all updates should have the ability to SAVE the progress that you have already made in any game.
I dread the options of start ovr or make a new profile and see if you run into the same problem.
Sme updates save for you and some do not.
I am not a computer programer, but if some updates can save your progress I think that all should be able to save your progress,

It all depends on what they needed to do to fix on the build. Most times you can use your saves but other times you will need to start over.

I certainly do agree with you that it would be nice if all updated versions of a game allowed you to continue with your previous profile rather than having to start all over. Not being a programmer, I don't know the reason why some updates require starting over with a new profile and some do not. wave
