Going to be a warm and glorious day here. Loving it. Doors opened already to let the warm, dry air blow through.

Friend (to whom I had offered some of my precious Quaker Lace tablecloths) finally called yesterday to say she 'thought she would drop over, and was there something she was supposed to be looking at or picking up?' Huh? This has been a few weeks of phone tag and me begging her to measure her table, etc., after she said she might want some to remind her of her childhood when her Mom had some on the table.

She sounded a bit out of it but as usual came 'right over' (which to her means 45 minutes later). I think she's working too hard, and with the new grand baby, maybe she's just exhausted. Dunno. She said she would 'try' out the cloths on her table, but it might be awhile. So I'm thinking, How long does it take to throw a tablecloth on a table and look at it to see if it fits? I'm gonna think some calming thoughts for her. Usually she's right up with everything. Very strange. Maybe a few GB good thoughts might help here.

In the 2 years I've had my Yard Kid around, he's gone from a skinny 17 year old kid to a full grown hulky 19 year old young adult. Big change. And after I gave him several of my 'donation' T-shirts (the ones with weird creepy or branded logos), he came back a few days ago and mentioned that he'd like more T's if I had any. So I rummaged and found 4 solid color nice thick shirts and sent him off. Now when he drops by he's wearing them, and I'm shocked to see that MY T's actually are fitting him! Guess he's grown more than I imagined. Wow.

Off to thrift store. Having withdrawals.

We are almost to the weekend.

Howdy everybody.

I went to the store this morning and waited around for an hour for my meeting then to be told those meetings were cancelled, and we would be meeting with the HR rep instead.

I don't think any of the managers were excited about having to deliver such happy news to all the sales specialist.

Basically it was a pay cut by means of illimination of all commissions and spiffs.

After I got Mom's oil changed and made a stop at Walmart, I came home and then went to my friends house, and we went out around the lake and looked for arrowheads until it got too cold and I got too hungry. Didn't find a thing.

When I came home from my friends house I didn't even go in the house. I got my walking stick and hand tool and headed for our creek where I scratched around for two hours more to find THIS.

They are both rough especially the one on the right which I think was a spear point. The other was started and never finished.

I hope everyone is having a good night. I have an early day tomorrow so I'm getting it started so I can get to bed.

Joe, I am sorry about your paycut. We feel your pain here, hubbys company is going through the same thing. It's been very stressful to say the least.

Hey everyone! It's been another really frantic day here juggling one too many things. WE finally got all of Peters necessary clothing and shoes he will need to start work next week. He's excited.

Well two of roomies sisters kidnapped me tonight and took me to the casino to play some BINGO!!! Had loads of fun and came home about $90 richer.
