I had a lot of trouble trying to d/l the demo, I had to sign up, etc, go thru checkout, confirmation, etc, etc, then I got invoice email for the demo but still I didn't get the demo. Why can't I get the demo??????

Even when I click on the invoice's link all I see is a description of the order (free order) but no d/l link for the demo at all.

That is what the Zodiac downloader is for.

- Open the Zodiac downloader.
- Click on Games at top.
- Open Shadows game - demo.

I got it to play, but I think you have to play the demo as an online game. I started play about 9 a.m. saved, exited, shut off my computer, and now I tried restoring/resuming my saved game, and it froze up - no amount of clicking (R or L) nor pressing the spacebar does anything. I guess I'll have to get rid of the game b/c I can no longer play it - I think the demo only runs 1 time and it must be played in one sitting, right?

I was upset about a non-computer issue when I posted in the above about having to give up on this game. I really wanted to play the demo before actually buying this game and test it - but like I said in the post before this one, the demo froze up after restoring a save and nothing I did made it playable again - help, please?

Just bought SOTVG earlier today, as well as d/l the Zodiac setup program onto my mac for backing up, will use the Zodiac already installed on one of my laptops to d/l the game maybe late this night after studying is finished (about 1/2 way thru the chapter in schoolbook).

According to the website, there will be four acts (chapters). As far as I know, a release date for the next act has not been announced yet. It'll be posted here when the information becomes available.

Thanks, Becky - I'm glad to know it'll only be 4 editions. that way, it'll be easier on my wallet, hard drive space, and my game-play times. I was thinking it was going to be 10 chapters/acts. Whew!

I am downloading it now and can't wait to try it. For anyone wondering about Zodiac, I too think they are great! I bought Tale of a Hero from them and they helped me right away in figuring out how to put in the English patch and, well, are just really helpful. If I have to use a client to play games, I sure would rather use them than steam.

The developers are beta-testing the italian version of the game, and they say that it will be ready in few weeks.
Now I don't know for sure if the english version will be released in the same time, but I guess it will
