I played a "Princess Isabella" a couple of weeks ago game and enjoyed it so much I'm now playing the second in the series - "Return of the Curse" !!

I also recently played Beauty and the Beast and thought that was good too laugh

Help !! I could panic soon !!
Am I turning into a trans-genre gamer ????

It's a slippery slope, Mad; you had better be careful! laugh

I really enjoyed both the Princess Isabella games as well as Beauty and the Beast. smile wave

Sounds like you are being a well rounded gamer Mad. You are on the DarkSide, the casual side and the Adventure. YOu will never run out of choices.

Hi, Mad!

If you want to become totally hooked on casual games, give "Nightfall Mysteries: Asylum Conspiracy" a try. The storyline is intriguing and it kept me guessing who the villain was right up to the very end. If you enjoy that one, the sequel is "Nightfall Mysteries: Curse of the Opera".

Casual games have come a long way since the original HOGs without any storyline or interaction. I feel we now have the best of both worlds because they've become adventure games with HO scenes and puzzles that can be skipped.

BTW, I also loved "Princess Isabella", but wish I had a sock to stuff in that annoying fairy's mouth grin!

Oh, oh !! Looks like I'm on the slippery slope, running out of money and suffering a trans-genre crisis lol

And "What's money for but to buy games." ??
Hmmm. I succumbed to that line a very long time ago snicker

AND .... I've already played "Nightfall Mysteries: Asylum Conspiracy" and "Nightfall Mysteries: Curse of the Opera".
So Yep !! Definitely gettin' scary scared

Trans-genre player is perfect. I'm playing Skyrim and just downloaded Film Fatale. Gonna play both tonight. I took tomorrow off and have decided to act like a big kid playing games all night.

Hi, Mad!

You've already played both "Nightfall Mysteries" and you're still on the fence lol ? Have you played "Otherworld: Spring of Shadows CE"? That one took me over 7 hours to play the main game, and just over 2 hours to play the bonus games and I loved every minute of it. If you're not into Collector's Editions yet, the standard edition should be released at the end of this month.

I still love my adventure games, but they are so few and far between, I need something to keep me busy until the next one is released. That's my story and I'm sticking to it grin !

QUOTE : "Trans-genre player is perfect."

Yes !! I agree !! And I also agree that I can no longer say "I'm on the Fence" !! lol

But I do have to be careful which casuals I choose to buy. I've been very disappointed at times.
As with any genre, what one person enjoys another might not woozy

And no, I haven't got round to "Otherworld: Spring of Shadows CE" yet shocked

I'm not in the same boat as you though, Susie07 as I'm not at all short of games. In fact I have a pretty tall stack of RPGs and Adventures not yet started - because I do so love to play through my collection of oldies as well as move on to my newies.

There just aren't enough hours in a day laugh

Otherworld was a good game -- not the most cheerful subject matter, but brighter visually than those that have dark graphics to go along with a spooky story.
