Have you solved the first Deadulous club riddle? On cerfax tower? Did you get that hint - that flag symbol? You should then compare it with the list that can be found in the same screen as the tower, on the left edge of the screen. Take the item in your hand and compare it with the correct symbol - and you should get it on the map!

Please read or better yet replay "The Betrayer's Price" part of the walkthrough.

Tomer explained that part. That part is how you get Christ Church in the map.

If you still can not understand that part or have missed doing something in that subchapter - post and I will see what I can do.

hi mag. i have 'won' the betrayer's price, gone through all the motions called for, putting the matchbox under the vent, got the coat of arms paper but when i examine paper and gold piece of jigsaw in inventory, i get a magic handbook - that can't be right! robert.

Did you do this part?

Coat of Arms plaque: Exit down to Carfax. Look close again at the Coat of Arms plaque.

Use the coat of arms paper from the red box on the coat of arms of Christ Church. That's it!


Check the map now and see if Christ Church is in the map.

You got the magic handbook early in the game - start of Chapter 1 from your backpack.

That's strange - and nothing happened when you clicked the taken coat of arms paper (from puzzle) on the coat of arms on the wall down at street level?

noap! as i said, when i clicked on the red box vent, instead of the coat of arms paper and the gold piece of jigsaw, i got the magic handbook. robert.

Since you're at the first chapter - best to start a new game. That might remove the glitch.

Can you not click the leaflets behind the note to pull it out front?
