Always By My Side

A woman's husband had been slipping in and out of a coma for several months, yet she stayed by his bedside every single day.

When he came to, he motioned for her to come nearer.

As she sat by him, he said, "You know what? You have been with me all through the bad times. When I got fired, you were there to support me. When my business failed, you were there. When I got shot, you were by my side. When we lost the house, you gave me support. When my health started failing, you were still by my side... You know what?"

"What dear?" She asked gently.

"I think you bring me bad luck."

Good morning and have a great day Joe, Haroula, Gerry, Cailyn and all who come in after me! wave

Well, I got good news and frustrating news late last night. I checked my cell phone late in the evening, and it turns out I had a voice mail from Friday I didn't know about. It was from the other company, and they called me about the job. bravo However, they wanted me to call them back ASAP.

I thought I was on top of checking my phones, but fiance and I were so busy Friday - work, picking up Jupiter's food, talking with our apartment management - that I must have forgotten and only checked my house phone and e-mail.

I tried to call and leave a message last night, but the extension number the woman on the phone gave me didn't work. So I'm going to have to try and talk to the manager I've been talking with today and let him know I'm not able to get through. Ah, hoping it all works out! It should; it's only one business day, after all. Just going to be dwelling on it until I'm able to get it straightened out. lol

And now, I have to whoosh off to get ready for work, so I'm not late.

Have a great Sunday, everyone! winter

Good morning Boomies.

Going to be a beautiful day, in the 60's. Will be going out to eat with Susie and Vince this evening. In the meantime we don't have anything planned for the day except treadmill.

Hope everyone has a great day.
