This game without a doubt is of the type that I personally enjoy. It has a great deal of great graphics as well as a wonderful story line. The story takes place in London and in the course of the game it takes you to Paris and an Island off of Africa.(this is all the farther I could go)
You play the part of two different characters and are associated with your roommates that together you steel paintings from museums. The puzzles are very challenging but can be skipped if so desired. My main complaint of this game is that it frequently kicked me out of the game and booted me back to windows desktop. Therefore saving often is a necessary action. I am using Windows 7 and have a good video card with the latest drivers. As far as the games technical site, forget it since it is in German and it offered only European email addresses for any kind of attempt of solving my particular glitch. After realizing I would never be able to finish this game, I tried loading it on my other computer which use windows Vista. I transferred the save file from the original computer and tried to continue the game from that progress point. It was all to no avail, causing the same kick out to desktop as the other computer. Checking the internet it became clear that this game has a very serious problem. Many game sites report the same error message “Cougar Engine V4.1 Runtime has stopped working”. Bottom line do not buy this game. You most likely will never be able to finish it.

As mmentioned I tryed to finish this game on Windows Vista as well as Windows 7. Also I tryed using windows XP SP2 in compatability mode still no success. I updated my video card which is a Nvidia GTX 460 using a Intel core i7 990X with 6GB of RAM

Hi PilotJack -- thanks for giving us your impressions of the game! The glitches sound very frustrating. I see that you've also posted in the GameBoomers Glitches forum -- an excellent idea. I hope the hardworking techs there will be able to help. wave

Thanks PilotJack, I completely agree with your overview although I was lucky in that I was able to finish what would otherwise have been an excellent game. I would have included it in last years list of game recommendations if it wasn't for the technical problems & the lack of any attempt on the developers part to address them.

The developer, House of Tales, was bought out and apparently their games went downhill from there. Both the founding members of House of Tales left before 15 Days was released. There's a ***thread at AG*** where forum members talk about it.

It didn't get too many good comments & not seemingly due to the technical problems which weren't mentioned. I have a disc version - I saw it was available from The Adventure Shop - as a download? & did/does it suffer from the same problems?

I played partway into the download version from The Adventure Shop and didn't have problems. It would be nice to hear from someone who has played that version to the end.

I just finished this game (disc, not download) and had a few minor problems with being thrown back to my desktop but nothing serious. No cougar runtime errors thankfully. I played it in my 7-1/2 year old XP with an ATI Radeon X800SE video card.

I liked the game pretty much but can't tie some of the story up in my head though. I'm pretty bad at understanding stuff sometimes.

The game mostly played itself, light on puzzles and the puzzles were pretty easy. It was what I needed in my current state of mind.
