Shoot! I just finished the CE. I usually am pretty patient about waiting for the standard version, but I was "out" of new games and time on my hands. Excellent game with an intriguing storyline. And looks like the story will continue. wink

Hi, Ana!

I was really excited when the CE of this game was released because I loved the previous 2, but the graphics were grainy so I passed. I just downloaded the demo of the SE and, much to my surprise (and delight), the graphics are clear as a bell.

Do you know if the developers made any changes to the SE because there were quite a few complaints about the grainy graphics of the CE in the BFG forums?

That's really interesting, Susan. I have no idea why the graphics would show up improved for you with the standard version. wave

Hi, Marian!

Neither do I, but I'm certainly not complaining. I have a widescreen monitor, so I was wondering if the developers made some adjustments to the SE because the grainy graphics seemed to plague those of us with widescreen monitors.

I'm really loving this game but do have one little gripe. Many of the dialogs come and go way too quickly to be read....at least by me. Am I the only one who is not a speed reader? I've seen this in other games, too. What a shame because there's no way to return to some scenes to finish reading what could be an important part of the story. It is so much better when the developers allow us to click to advance the dialogs instead of giving us only a few seconds to read them. I've mentioned this when I've beta tested some games, but it doesn't seem to do any good. Maybe I'm the only slow reader in the gaming world!

Just started playing. Windows closed the game because of an error. I don't feel like coping with another game with problems right now so I.ll uninstall. I'm beginning to believe these games don't do well with 7.

Hi, Patsy!

I have the 64-bit version of Windows 7 and, after playing the demo for about 1/2 hour, I haven't run into any problems. It's possible your graphics card is the problem. Have you updated the drivers?

Checking to see if there are updated drivers for your video card is a good idea. smile

Patsy, these games were made for Win 7, it's more likely to have issues running Win XP now than Win7 on the new releases. I found even new computers sometimes need their drivers updated.
