Well I loved Baldur's Gate so it all sounds very wonderful - but if too many game developers start to climb on the "Kickstarter" band wagon, I, for one, won't be able to keep up eek

I'll be interested to see how this progresses. I just bought another copy of BG and BG2, bundled along with all the other classic Bioware games (IWD IWD2 PsT, eg). Good for using on my less powerful laptop while I'm on holiday.

Younger people might not be able to get some of the in-jokes and history, but surely there are enough of us old RPG players to make this worthwhile. I would absolutely HAVE to see the old gang, though, and perhaps even a joinable Elminster as the party mage, with Volo as the bard.
