As far as I know the disc versions don't need on-line activation but I could be wrong!
I've just looked on Amazon UK - there's the disc version and underneath a separate sponsored link for a download version from Big Fish - is that what you are looking at?
I was looking at this one **here** on the US Amazon. It has a blue Big Fish banner across the top of the jewel case. Apparently it's made by Big Fish Games, or at least published by BF, so will I have to get involved with BF even if I buy this in disc format?

I can't really answer that cruise as I buy very few casual games on disc - but you shouldn't have to get involved with BF - they're just the publisher/developer. Hopefully someone else can help you better!

Mad, Curse at Twilight: Thief of Souls is indeed the full title.
Cruise, if you buy a CD and/or retail box version of a game with the Big Fish logo on it, installation doesn't involve anything more than installing the game and there is no further involvement with Big Fish. Chrissie is correct.
Oh, my, I guess I should come out of the closet also. I went to Big Fish got Brian's Relics, then got hooked on 3 cards to midnight, 3 cards to dead time. yes Tex's voice. Now Big Fish has me hooked.
Just have go back to work a bit more. Mad already got another computer only have six.
I started out as an adventure gamer when a friend loaned me Syberia. Was definitely hooked and constantly looking for new games to play. When I first came upon BFG HO games, I asked my friend if he was familiar with them. He said he was but that I probably wouldn't be interested. I decided to try one anyway. That was about 3 years ago and I find myself filling at least one punch card a month now with HO and IHOG games from BFG. I keep thinking I'll get back to adventure games. In fact, I currently have 5 adventure games I bought on CD and one downloaded from Steam that I intend to play - some day. And my friend who didn't think I'd enjoy the HOG's - well, now I've got him hooked on them as well.

Hi Sparkle
Whilst I appear to have now definitely added these Casuals to my repertoire I certainly haven't given up on Adventures. They were my first love and will always be my favourites
Cheers.

I have a confession to make.....I got my 2 sisters,4 friends at work, and 2 entire families, hooked on BF. I am a bad bad girl . At work the first thing we talk about, is which game we're playing or downloading.

I'm with you there Mad! Got hooked on Casual Games which suit me when I don't have the time or concentration for my first love which has always been & still is Adventure Games!
just posted to report back on another engaging game I've played - the motivation to try it inspired by suggestions by Susie07 & Jenny100- Otherworld: Spring of Shadows. I couldn't stop playing the game - the story is dark but as mentioned the environments are mostly bright & colourful - wonderful!
