Hi Winfrey, I would like to help but I have only scratched the surface of this game and haven't arrived at the place where Giovanna is playing. I haven't much time to play but If I get to that spot before she moves on I will try to help. Thank you for sending the WT to Rushes, that was very thoughtful of you.

Just a reminder for the walkthrough... it is a translation from the Russian game (I believe) and there are some areas that are slightly out of sequence... getting the key for instance...just keep this in mind smile

I need some help on A Stroke of Fate please.

When taking the 3 photos of Beck's house. Is the mention of steam blurring the way any significance or is it just a red herring?

When developing the photos, they are always overdeveloped or something else, never right. How long do they have to be in the developer and fixer for?

Any help will be very much appreciated.

Thanks in advance
Callista

Hi Callista,

I'm not sure about the "steam blurring the way". think

As for developing the photos, fellow member Hamer says on a different thread:

As far as developing them you can get the pictures but you have to click it out of the 1st solution when it is at its brightest....the last solution will be automatic.

Does that help? Is your camera set up correctly also? Let us know if you still have problems.

Thanks for your email again Rushes. I tried what you said an to no avail. I was then convinced the steam fogging the camera lens was responsible for the poor quality negatives and the developing process. I went back outside the building and looked at the steam. I then spoke to the Frau about the steam. It was coming from a broken pipe. Pay her money for a tenant to fix it. Go back upstairs to the camera and you can see the 2 windows and entrance clearly. I went back to develop the negatives and print them out. There were no worries then.

This part of the walkthough was omitted in the translation or not included. I hope this helps someone else as they have helped me.
