Afternoon already. Hi friends. wave

Had to go to Wally World, then back again to take a box of canned cat food for exchange. Ewww, it was yucky. Had been dropped and cans popped open and it really smelled.

It is cooler today but still nice. At least the sun is shining.

I think I need to do some maintenance on my computer. Back later.

Hello everyone. wave

I've had a pretty good day so far. yes

I called one of my home town high school friends, who has retired down here from Texas. He and his wife live over across the lake in a nearby community.

He came over and we went to the creek, after showing him my collection.

We probably weren't down there 10 minutes before I found this beauty.

We spent about an hour and a half down there and didn't find anything else. duh

He has a big collection that he has found over the years back in Texas. He worked with my uncle who has found all sorts of artifacts and fossils.

He was impressed with my collection, and tomorrow or the next day I'll be going out to visit him and see his collection. happydance

joe

Wow flutist, I had the same thing happen last year. Bought a 48 can of Friskies and a week later started smelling like something was 'dead' in my laundry room. Not unusual, because critters sometimes die under my house and smell, but I finally tracked this odor to the box of cat food cans. Yuk! Opened it and found not only a smashed can, but 'things' growing and wiggling around in it. Horrible experience. I know what you are talking about. NOW I carefully inspect boxes for any signs of damage and I actually 'sniff' the box before I buy it. Must look pretty silly to other shoppers, but I'm not going to have the same problem twice. Nope.

Hope they exchanged your food for you! catrub

Hi Sorta. Yes they did and I sniffed the new box I got. lol Indeed it was yucky.

Closing down and going to read my book. Reading City of Bones. The first book in a trilogy. I don't have the others but will look for them when I work at the book fair the end of this month.

Nite all.

Bets, you'll have to let me know what you think of your book.

We are back from Bible study, dogs fed, new food poured, kitchen cleaned and now time to head to bed and read after I soak my finger. I swear I need to live in a bubble.

Boys may or may not be over tomorrow. Apparently they have the flu. Anyone want to bet if we'll get them? Poor babies.

Anyway, sleep well all sleep
