The aim of the puzzle is to find 6 patterns.
There are numbers on the wall at the secret cellar.
From those numbers you deduced 6 set of numbers.
There are tiles all over on walls in town.
You also saw pictures of those tiles and they are numbered.
From those numbered pictures of tiles - then you now know the tile patterns to look for on the kaleidoscope.
Now on the kaleidoscope:
Look close and see the dial pointer at top of the circle that looks like a spider web.
You have to click on that pointer so it points to a set of line on the spider web circle.

The walktrough tells you how to look for them.
If you are following my walkthrough - just do the part that is titled: "Enter the chosen design on the tube:".
You can do the looking for in any order - as long as you find all 6 patterns with the pointer pointing to the correct number of lines.
If you can see the dial pointer - raise the brightness of your computer and see if that helps.
