Yes, looney, one of the text links helped me. I mentioned it in the other thread. The you tube ones were too quick to follow (and remember). The solution was actually really easy. I was making it harder than it really was. slapforehead

One thing I haven't been able to figure out is how in the heck do you put gems in slotted Weapons and Armor. I've read this worthless manual and it just says you can do it but not how to do it.

That's it L4L, I thought I tried that but maybe not. Will try it again. I think it's a little much trouble for the reward though but will check it out and see.

I miss the way to upgrade weapons/armor in Skyrim but then again I miss everyting about Skyrim. lol

Oldman, you need gems and an item with empty sockets. At a sagecraft altar you will get the option to create gems (from shards) or socket the gems. Click on socket > click on the item to socket > click on a gem of your choosing > confirm > repeat if there are more sockets. It took me a while to figure it out too. I like the gems that give you extended stun powers and also the health regen ones.

Thank you Rowan and L4L. I got it figured out. (I was trying to do it at the blacksmith) I have some really powerful weapons that don't have any slots. I'll be looking for some to see if the slotted ones do any better. A lot of weapons to choose from in this game. I have a really cool fae blade that I got from one of the factions, House of Ballads I think it was.

yes L4L this game is growing on me. It will be fine once I get past the learning curve.

I still don't understand why the manuals don't explain the details of how rather than just saying what. Especially when they are such a pain to read. mad frown

Thanks Rowan wave

Oldman, I'm with you...most manuals tell you little to nothing. I think companies now assume we will get all our info off the web or from each other. wave

What I found difficult when I started this game was learning all the keyboard commands. Nowhere could I find a simple chart that explains what each key does. Now I am well into the game and am getting by with just a minimum number of "key" knowledge.

Those keys can be intimidating at first glance, that's for sure. Though, like Rowan, I find that spending some time in the game it gets to be second nature. wave
