Nan, I'll get used to the hours eventually. Being a natural night person, when I stopped getting very many days, I naturally gravitated toward staying up late again. But I was used to getting up early once, and I will be again. That's terrible news about your roomie's sister's husband! Sending best thoughts to both of them!!

Easy peasy morning. Then, it's my weekend to volunteer at church, so that's later this afternoon!

Alrighty, off to see what's afoot!

Neighborhood news: Looks like the family across the street who own rentals behind and all over town and are now moving 'on up' to a bigger house up the street have or are in the process of renting out this one. Family with 3 younger teen girls was just there with 'paperwork' and that usually signifies a rental person. My prediction was, at least 3 kids and a big barking dog or 2 or 3 small yappers. Maybe I am right. Time will tell. Still haven't seen the owners move out any furniture or anything except yard stuff. Maybe today or tomorrow and new tenants by weeks end. Oh boy. Something else to keep eyes on. My neighbor and partner in crime are on the 'watch'.

Ahhhhh just back from my walk. I left it too late to take the doggies but I did mine. Now off to replace some of the liquid I lost.

Hey everybody.

I had a great day today. I went to the creek this morning and found nothing. On the way back I see my friend Shane coming down the drive and we went across the road on the hill and walked around with his son Gabe, and his metal detector......and found nothing.

I came back home and ate some lunch and then went out and mowed the yard, and did the trimming.

Then I came in and watch tv the rest of the afternoon.

It's been very cloudy all day, but no rain yet. It's supposed to get nasty tonight. I hope it rains all night.

I'm watching the last Harry Potter right now.

Ana, yes the heat is back. Not as hot as a bit ago but too hot for the dogs at that time of day. If we were wondering around the woods, that would be one thing, but trudging around on the hot street is another thing entirely.

Got an updated photo of daughter and Vader today as she just picked him up today...oh my but it's going to be fun at the ole house tonight with two large breed 2 month old puppies romping and stomping...we can't wait to get an update tomorrow

Thanks guys, his name is Vader and I'm seriously thinking of dognapping him. Of course, the problem with that is that they know where I live, so I'd have to move. He looks so cuddly, but he's gonna be big. He is 17 1/2 lbs today. My Solo was 10 lbs at that age and Skyman was 9.5. I would do nothing but cuddle with him.

Off to bed we go. Hubby is super tired and though he is off, we have a play so we will be busy.
