While googling for Syberia 3 references I came across a French blogger who thought there were hints about Syberia 3 on the Microids facebook page. Specifically, there was a reference to a visit from Benoit Sokal to work on "various projects" (Mar. 2); some artwork of mammoths that Sokal left after his visit (Mar. 5); and a comment about Kate Walker being in the foreground of some character art featuring Microid's female characters (Mar. 8).

Yeah, it's not much, but if Sokal is working on any game that would be good news to me (but assuming even that much seems iffy). It seems odd that they would be dropping hints rather than making an announcement of some kind. Treat this as vague, wishful thinking, but if you're interested you can check out the items mentioned for yourself on the Microids Facebook page, here.

I'm of the opinion that a third Syberia is about as likely as a fourth Gabriel Knight !!

But HOW I would love to be proved wrong !!

I also agree as he did comment on syberia 3 before & stated it would be too expensive to put out another syberia with the modern day graphics that would be expected.

At this point, I would just be happy knowing Benoit Sokal was working on another game. I was really intrigued by Aqarica for example and was sad that it was cancelled, so I wouldn't mind if he started working on that. His last game was Sinking Island, and that came out four years ago. I've missed playing his games.

Really, I thought Syberia 2 was a fine ending for the series, and while I would like to see another one, I don't need it necessarily. Doesn't meant I wouldn't be interested if he did start working on one.

I have googled and searched and read that there was a Syberia 3 in the making a few years ago, but can't find it for sale anywhere. Was it actually ever released? I just finished playing the first 2 again for the third time and would love to play another one!
