L4L I was just talking about being able to keep the money that I earn for myself. I don't mave any plans to open another business. My10 I feel bad for those caaught in bad storms that have lost their lives or their homes. I pray for them and pray I never have to experience that myself. joe

Joe, I think I've 'broken' every one of those Laws! "The Ark is Full" Love it! Gonna make that my mantra from now on with all the outdoorsie and indoorsie critters. Speaking of critters. Last night I heard clunking and thunking on the deck and my security 'critter cam' caught a juvenile Raccoon coming from the roof to the fence, down to a step ladder and then over to the communal dry food feeder. This feeder holds 5 lbs of nibbles. So this little guy (actually huge except for his short short tail which identified him as a baby) starts eating and then is joined by MOM. Mom is huge of course and has a very long tail. Junior waddles off somewhere (probably to swim in the water dish) and Mom decides that there must be buried treasure (or at least something more tasty) in the feeder, and proceeds to use both hands to dig out every last bite of food! This morning I found an empty feeded, 5 lbs of Friskies in a huge pile around it and had to get a scoop and rubber gloves and salvage most of it and get it back into the feeder. Guess they weren't really hungry but just looking for something 'better' than what they had elsewhere. Maybe she was looking for the 'prize' in the bottom of the box? I only see the raccoons once or twice a month now. Thank goodness they found another home and food so my stock is safe for the feral cats. Wow. Bad raccoon, gonna not let her dig out all the food again.

Good morning boomies! I slept waaaay in this morning but I got to bed very late/early so it still wasn't a full nights sleep. Hubby went golfing with my BIL in the hopes the rain will hold out and my sis called to ask me to go out with her. I turned her down all week so I best say yes. She is a teacher so she was on Spring Break and of course I had not a moment free all week. I am glad you all are safe and sound after the violent day of storms. Have a wonderful Sunday!

A beautiful day and have plenty to do outside. Time to grab a bite of lunch then back out.
Hope it's a great Sunday for all.

L4L, yes I was running late, but I made it on time. Fiance and I saw Merry Wives of Windsor several years ago. I don't remember much about it except for the fact that one of the actresses was wearing a dress I wore when I was in Tartuffe. Guess they like to recycle costumes. I remember it being fun, though. Well, this was the first Sunday I worked without my manager there. Ran into a couple of snags where I didn't know what to do, but I think I managed to sort them out. And everything got finished in more than enough time, so I was happy about that. Fiance and I went grocery shopping afterward, so that's done. Now it's time for a game.

Just a quick Hi during a break in the storms. Some lightening and thunder now so must make it quick. Soon it will turn to snow, or so they say. It is cold enough out there for it with that nasty wind. Glad to hear that everybody in the storms last night are safe and sound. Stay safe today too! Have a lovely day Joe, Ana, Cailyn, Darlene, venus, Gerry, Connie, Haroula, Midge,Mary, Gail, L4l, Soot, Space, My10, Trippy, Sorta and Lotus!!! Nan

I'm back but we have a thunderstorm going so may have to close off. Got home to find a Redbud tree down in our back yard. It did miss the house and electrical wires. It was on its last legs and we had talked about having it removed. Bill got the top cut out so we could get out our back door. Later on I went to turn on my computer to look at the weather and my monitor was dead. Don't know if it was lightening or it just kicked the bucket. This was my 19 inch that I really liked too. Had to move in the 20 inch widescreen that came with this computer, a cheapy. So guess will do some more testing on the 19 inch and see if it is dead. At least I had another to use so I can take my time in looking for a new one.
Talked to Susie and she said we had one horrible storm Friday night and we had 3 inches of rain in our rain gauge.
Well, I think I am going to go read for a bit.
Bets

Back from the play. We enjoyed it as always, though I was very tired from not sleeping last night and I struggled once or twice to stay awake. I hope the actors couldn't see me...our seats are in the 2nd row. Then errands and then dinner and then home to insane Skyman who was sure we were never coming back. Dogs fed, kitchen cleaned, son still at work so house is fairly quiet. Daughter called to say their bid on a house was accepted, so she will be moving again. Exciting times for her. Off to read a book. Sleep well all

Night all. Still have a brutal cold. Feeling lousy. I'm going to bed shortly. Maybe tomorrow I'll feel better. I worked tonight but I probably should have stayed home. So I'll just say good night. Midgie

Oh, to all in the storm zones, please stay safe! Take care Nan and Ana. To all who survived the past day or so, I am relieved for you. Midgie, I hope you will be feeling better very soon. Enjoy your book L4L. Funny, in my earlier post I couldn't remember the other trees waiting to be planted and then Bets mentioned her doomed Redbud...that is the one I couldn't think of, thank you Bets.
