OK, Tonto (AKA Gil AKA traveler). I give up! I know what I'm supposed to do, but I'm having a terrible time controlling the little "cilia guys." Am I missing a technique or something?

Nope, you just have to keep moving the cursor to get the little red fuzzy thing off the spout next to the key. You'll have to do it several times because the one-winged dragonfly thingie can't get past the 'poofs' as the key moves from one spout to another. I just kept moving the cursor under it. Sent the fuzzy red thing out the wrong spout lots of times Now, I'm going to Drastic Horrible Things I Need Help With (Glitches) so you can tell me what to uncheck on CCleaner to prevent it from erasing all my saves in Botanicula. Well, whaddaya know. It didn't do it this time. Thank goodness! Tonto/Gil./traveler

Oh, thank you! I guess I'm just not patient enough. That's what I've been doing, the the little monsters don't cooperate! And good to know about CCleaner - I know that was a huge problem with Machinarium, so I guess they fixed it. Woo hoo!

Chapter One, I guess, MaG. I've been trying to avoid a walkthrough since this game looks SIMPLE. Ho ho. So, never mind, but thanks! I'll just trudge around that tree a few hundred more times. And thanks to you, too, Chief! Gil.

Don't you just love the "leaf map!"
I guess if we're going to use this for a Botanicula hints thread, I should change the name of my post.

That was cute and it got me on the right track. Now where's the next leaf? Huh? Huh?
Gil.

Well, finally got the key moved two places. Finally gave up on the third for the night. Yes, I did change the name of the thread!

Well, I'm stuck again, this time on the rat who keeps jumping on the twig's eyeball. Draclvr, are you out there? Gil.

Sorry, had to go to bed about midnight... couldn't stay awake any more. I'm still stuck in the stomach thingie.

Drac, maybe if you don't try too hard, just let your cursor drift under the you-know-what it will work better. I thought the third move for the key was the easiest. (Of course, figuring out what to do was the really hardest part!)
Gil.

*sigh* After twenty minutes (I am persistent!) of trying drifting then madly gesticulating and a couple of cuss words, the you-know-what just slowly falls down to the bottom.
