I am finding this game somewhat frustrating. However I am trying to move on. Right now I am on Salia 2...Have landed and Mobot is there. He reports the atmosphere is the same as Salia 4 and Ith was tranported here...the mist planet...Temple of eternal flow may also be here. Now supposedly Rachal will do a manual comparison of the Ith's map with the planet surface. Julia combines a large map with the Ith's map. Now Julia is supposed to say, find a large rock with 5 small rocks on the left etc...but no one is saying anything...Can anyone tell me what I am missing here? I can't proceed at this point. Thank you for any help....

When you say "supposedly - did you see or hear them say those dialogues?
Do you see the surface of the planet - the close-up of the puzzle?
If so - then JULIA's map should be on the screen and you as Rachel should be manually looking for the large rock with 5 small rocks while comparing the map with the planet surface.

Have gone back over my movements in the game. I even started over with a previously saved game. I can't see what I may have missed. All the dialogue spoken in the walkthrough is the same dialogue I am hearing in my game. Does anyone have a saved game at the beginning of exploring Salia 2, the planet of mist? I can't figure out what I am doing incorrectly here. Thank you.

Can you tell me what is on the screen?
You might already be on the puzzle itself.

On the screen is the planet itself...top left square with Yamabushi written on it...bottom left analysing box....bottom right planet name Salia 2 and a departure square...screen moving slowly back and forth...left to right etc...
no talking and I can't move around to check out anything on this planet...thanks...

Okay, Mobot is already down there.

- Click on the right exploration box at bottom right.

Then you will see the planet's top view.
There should be arrows that you use to move around.
You can now do a manual search of the rocks.

Also the game is non-linear, so in case you don't have a map for the place in the mist, the scene you're expecting will never trigger. If this is the case, you need to get back to Salia 4 and solve the mysterious places puzzle first.

Thanks, I have gone back over my steps. Even back to Salia 4 and talked to the native again, twice. I just can't find what I have missed. If possible could I get a saved game somewhere at the beginning of exploring Salia 2, the mist planet... I just can't seem to get whatever I am doing wrong figured out correctly. If I can't move on I will give up on this one for a while. Thanks...

My saved game is after finding the 5 rocks. I will send that to you.

But please check your screen; if you see Mobot at bottom right and when you hover your cursor over him - do you get the exploration bar at bottom right?
Try just clicking on Mobot and see if the screen changes to the puzzle.

O.K. thank you! I have tried to load the save but it doesn't seem to be in my load file. Only a blank square that is highlighted. I am not sure how to get this save to work. I tried renumbering it with the next number after my last save but that didn't work either. Any suggestions would be much appreicated. Thank you once again.

That is why I hesitate to send my saved games.

Have you tried clicking that highlighted blank square? It just might not have the picture but the data is linked.

Also have you tried clicking on Mobot?

I tried clicking on the blank-highlighed square but nothing happens. I will try a few more times to see if I can get a load...and I want to say thank you for your help. These games are all so different. Sometimes a saved game works instantly! No problem I just appreciate you taking the time to send me a game to try.
