It's been raining. Not enough for what they promised but at least the ground is wet and plants are getting some 'good' water.

L4L, I love audio books. Listen to them while I drive. Yours sounds yummy. I just finished one that had an alternating male-female reader too. Can't remember the name right now. Was a crime drama. I'm now on Stephen King's The Dark Tower series. Finished the Gunslinger and am listening to The Drawing of the Three. Strange series combining sci-fi with future stuff and then present day. I'm still figuring it out. There were 6 books and now he just came out with a 7th after an 8 year hiatus. I'm going to be listening till the year 2020. rotfl

Ahhhhh back from my walk. I went earlier because it's getting too hot to take the dogs later, but apparently it's too hot to take the dogs earlier too 'cos I sure did a lot of drag-a-dogging and I don't walk fast. But we made it.

Sorta, I just finished my first King book and had seen the Dark Tower series and thought I might start getting that one. I take it you enjoy it?

I love audio books but I have noticed that I can read a book much faster than I can listen to one.

Son is off to pick up the PerBear and I am off to find some lunch! Back in a bit wave

Nan, that's what the weather's been like here lately, too. I think that's a perfect way to spend a rainy day. thumbsup What game(s) did you play?

I've been replaying Still Life. In that mood, I suppose, and it fits with the weather. grin I also think I may get back to Tale of a Hero. I was really enjoying that game and want to see what happens.

Fiance should be home soon, and he's going to pick us up a late lunch. thumbsup Just biding my time until then. grin

2:10 PM here and 94 degrees already. Kits streatched out and puppy has dug a place in the yard that's cooler to sleep in. What a life. L4L, I know I talk alot about my malamute I used to have but every morning we jogged and SHE draged me and it was like waterskiing on land. My toes barely touched the ground. We flew by surgeons, lawyers teachers etc. I wonder if they thought I was such a great runner -they didn't know. Gosh I miss her.

Has anybody played Heavenly Sword? a good and oldie game. Just put it back on -PS. How about Over the Hedge and Bugdom? I would play those but can't get them to work on 7.

Tomorrow AM will be at dentist getting my teeth cleaned and spiffied up then bank then tank up then grocery up.

Happy Thursday all

Enjoy the dentist Yankee.
Just back from the library - Lynn Sheppard the author came & gave a talk & signed my book too ! Her new book is based on Bleak House - so I am going to rewatch the DVD before I pick up the book ..
Jaffa came home with one soaking wet leg, if I didn't know better I would think he had gone fishing in the neighbours pond.

Yep, L4L, loving the Stephen King The Dark Tower series. Starting book 2 and buying up all the rest on-line when I find them under 8 bucks. First one I found was thrift store for 4 bucks and I'm hooked. I'd love to listen at home, but like you, I can read faster and not fall asleep that way. I prefer the car listening so I can just be entertained as I drive. Works well. I can finish about 24 hours of a book in 2 weeks, sometimes 3. Like watching a series on TV. Fun. Found all but one of the audio books now. Wheeeeee.

Still spitting rain here. On and off, just enough to get your hair wet, geeez. Outdoosies are hunkered in their tents and under the tables which are covered in plastic sheeting. Fun to see 3 cats, nose to tail, on a bench under there all snug and warm and dry. catrub

Long day getting groceries and always stop to chat with folks. But rained all day with high winds. I think my feet are starting to look webbed. Don't worry if my post start looking a little quacky....
Tired but way to early for bed so must game and watch tv.

Have a great eve all.
