L4l! What a day and it's just starting. Wow. Better drink more than just one cup of coffee.

I have to go scout the yard for empty brandy bottles. Was a lot of 'activity' last night with guys from the apartments walking up and down out front and laughing and running and just acting plain stupid. Not sure what they were up to but it's time to go see if anything is amiss out in front of my house or in the yard. Always a treat.

I think someone new moved into the apartments yesterday or is moving out. A new truck appeared, backed in and for 3 days, the 'manager' has been putting 'stuff' on the curb for free taking. That usually signals someone moved out. Can hardly wait to see the 'new' guy or guys. I'm thinking it's more of the friends of the drug sellers. Scary bunch. Seem friendly but oh the worry about bad deals and guns and all that goes along with selling drugs. Sigh.

L4L, I also just finished 11-22-63 and really enjoyed it. After a drought of good books I think this is more typical of King. Actually couldn't put the book down (read it in 2 days) smile

Karen, hugs to you and hope all will be well.

Thanks Manx wave

I'm back from the park with the kiddies. Hubby picked up dinner on the way home. Daughter called and totally stressed me out, so I'm going to take my icee and go destress in my bedroom with a tv remote and a book. lol It's always something!

Back later wave

I have spent my entire day 'chaperoning' my yard kid. He arrived at 11:15 and I've been having him do mega weedwacking of all the edges of all the sidewalks and driveway and all the little weeds growing in between and along all fences. A BIG job. But he needs frequent supervision, hydration (he never brings anything) and I ended up finally after 4 hours giving him a chicken sandwich since he hadn't eaten anything today. Geee whiz. He needs a mom. But he works hard, does anything you ask, even if it's yukky and takes whatever you want to pay him. I'm fairly generous as are most of the others I referred him to. He needs the money. Turning 20 on Cinco de Mayo (he reminded all of us..ha) and has no prospects for any type of permanent job (quit high school in his senior year to support the relatives he lives with). Sad story, but he's a nice kid. He's STILL here and wants to work more tonight so he can buy groceries for the house. Sigh. I will have to go out soon and see what he's up to. Hopefully he hasn't torn out any valuable vegetation in my absence. rotfl

Taxi home and parked for the night and we had a good time too, as usual.

Night Haroula sleep well.

Trippy it's been in the 20's here in the mornings. Hope it warms up soon!!

Sorta I know a few kids like that too. Very good workers but need somebody there all the time to tell them what to do next. He is lucky that he found you for work!

L4l glad you got some walking in with the kiddies. Enjoy the icee, the book and the TV!!

Darlene sounds like a good time shopping today. happydance Have a lovely time at the party and birthday to grandson!
