Having a hard time combining things..Comb'd rope & tarp for parachute, but couldn't add the rucksack. Can't use scissors on the barkeep's beard-Wilbur says NO! Can't seem to utilize some of the things I've acquired. Have to get DNA from the beard for the robot. Not sure how to proceed.

Combining:
Items can be combined by clicking one item over another item.
So after combining the tarpaulin with rope; then pick that item in inventory and click it on the rucksack to get a parachute.

Beard:
Be sure that you have talked to the Master Brewer first.
That you have tried to take the map above the chair.
Then asked the Master Brewer for the map. He should say no.
Then wait for him to be asleep on that chair before using the scissors on him.

Here I am again..Was able to combine the rucksack to make the parachute, but still can't cut the gnome's beard. Wilbur has put the kitchen waste in the robot and commented on needing DNA, but he still won't cut the beard. Not sure what to do..he's checked out the map, tried to pick it up with the extendable arm, but won't wake up the gnome to talk, and won't cut the beard. What to do?

Thanks, Cathy..I loaded the vacum/robot with kitchen waste per the WT, and Wilbur mentions DNA, but I still can't use scissors to get a bit of the Gnome's beard to "feed" the robot. The WT says to use scissors while he's sleeping. which he is. Now,Wilbur won't wake him to inquire about the map, and I can't get the map with the extended arm. Not sure what to do now..seems like I've done it all!

Might be best to go and replay a saved game before the robot. I believe you missed an item or a dialogue. luck

Am growing so frustrated with the Wheel of Fortune! At the rate I'm going, I'll be there till Christmas! Have no problem with the first 2 colors, but have guessed wrong on the 3rd every time. Is there some trick to this? Help!

The wt has a trick on it.

Click to reveal..
Predict the result of the Wheel of Fortune: Talk to the showman again about predicting the future.

Wupperman goes into a trance.

There are 4 colors on the wheel of fortune: yellow, red, green and blue.

To win the wheel of fortune, you have to give the correct color the wheel will point to 3 consecutive times.

The trance - true prediction will only be answered after 5 questions.

First question should be: Is it color 1 or color 2?

Second question should be: If yes from above, ask about one of the colors stated; if no, ask if it is one of the colors not mentioned.

Deduce the correct color of the first spin.

Move on to the next spin.

Third question is similar to first question.

Fourth question is similar to second question.

Deduce the correct color of the second spin.

Move on to the next spin.

Fifth question: The question is similar to first question. Then the showman wakes from his trance.

You have to guess the last color but you already eliminated 2 of the colors by his response.

Play the Wheel of Fortune then. Keep on playing until you win the game.

Always ask for another reading from the crystal ball.

More often than not in my gameplay, the next color is closest to the second reading than the other farther choice.

Get a bag of gold.

I can check for a saved game if you want that route. It might be later since my computer is being checked right now.
