Good afternoon boomies! We lost power this morning at 6:30 and finally got back before noon. I've been in the corner working since.
It's a rainy day here today and it'll be a rainy week according to the forecast. We neded the rain but my puppies will likely not be running for a few days.

Hello everybody.

I am so glad to be home!.

My work day started out with pallets & pallets of freight, which never did get all put up. We got so busy with customers that I didn't even get to go to lunch until after 1:00.

I was supposed to be off at 3:00, but I stayed because we were still busy and I was trying to finish a downstocking worksheet that was supposed to be finished by 2:30. I finally left after 2:50.

My feet are very very sore.

You can send me some of that heat, L4L. I'm so cold. Turned on my heater and I'm fighting the cats for it. Wish it would warm up.

So far no more brandy bottles. No new renters across the street, no police, ambulance or fire trucks and it's a very boring day.

Hi guys, back from the eye doc. My stye never went away, so we are going to take run 2 at this. I should have gone back when the redness was still there, but it didn't hurt so I wasn't worried about it.

Anyway, otherwise my eyes are fine. I got some new glasses ordered and then home to start playing the "I need a referral" game with my primary doctor so I can go back to the eye doc for a follow up.

I was interested to hear that folks with blue eyes often have a harder time after their eyes are dialated than those of us with darker eyes. It's never bothered me and I can do anything with my eyes dialated that I can without, but poor blue eyed daughter's goes almost blind for hours and hours and hours. Who knew?

Hubby is on the way home and I managed to get the top of the downstairs kennel cleared off so we can make the swap when he gets here.

We set a record for heat today and I, for one am not surprised.

Sorta, I'd only be too glad to send you some of this heat....maybe an extra 15 or 20 degrees worth. It's currently 89 out there and the humidity is in the muggy range.

Hello everyone..just got home to relax from the day at work and see that L4L has scheduled me for more work tonight so will get some gardening done with the help of my whale music and then will do some furniture moves

Apartment Bottle Tossing Game might be soon ended. I didn't have to do a thing. Neighbor between us met up with the 'caretaker' of the said bottle tosser (he's actually a homeless guy she picked up and he deals drugs, but he's 'nice') and he now has a CAR! Wow. Amazing. So he gave my neighbor a ride home and they talked about the bottles. Neighbor asked if he could tell the tosser to drop them over the fence instead of throwing them into houses and windows, etc. Found out that she is throwing the bottles because the Apartment manager is on her case about her excessive drinking (after she caused TWO fires in the year) so she thinks she's fooling him. Geeeez. So the guy said, "I'll take care of it". Hopefully this will work. Wheeeeee! I'm so thankful for good neighbors.

Dog kennels swapped, all creatures great and small fed, and now I'm tired. Time for bed. 5:30 will come 4 hours too soon. Night all...sleep well.
