I know, I am a 'latecomer' getting to finally play this one - have Mag's magnificent W/T and followed it pretty closely (I find that if I go off on my own I get stuck too often and being as busy as I/we are I get bored with it when I cannot proceed) and have 'dissolved' all the runes and want to finish the game. However I seem to now be stuck with the chains still on that door and cannot get past it. Would anyone please have a saved game for just after the last rune (in the safe at main desk in lobby) is dealt with? BW will NOT say 'mission accomp' and here I sit wondering where I went wrong. Should have known to save ALL my saved games in a separate file somewhere before writing over them but didn't think to do that. Why did they limit the save slots anyway, dern! HELP me if you can please, want to finish the game and go on to something else. Can't wait for the next ND and haven't been able to activate the last Carol Reed Amber's Blood - waiting for refund of download will get it on disc then. Thanks much
Love, Betty Lou

Betty Lou,

I have only 6 saved games that I can find. They are unlabeled.

I will send you the last 2 and hopefully they are close where you want to be.
CYE.

That's great Mag and thanks. Now I just have to find out where they are on my laptop which has Vista OpSys and I thought they should go to C:\ProgramFiles\IcebergGames\BaronWittard(etc)\data but do not see any "sav." files there only "wcd" whatever those are. Can you direct me just where to download your saves to? Vista stumps me every time - why couldn't they just "keep it simple s...."? Thanks see ya tomorra gnite

Thanks again Mag, yes it was in the Documents folder that the BWNOR saves reside and while I cannot say for sure that your saves went there when I launched the game again, chose one of the two LOADs in those slots and I decided to recheck each dissolution machine to be sure I had not missed something or 1 or more had NOT dissolved, and after checking about 4 or 5 of them went to that chained white door and it was UNCHAINED! (one of the runes had not dissolved as it was supposed to the first time, this time it did) so now I am working on that last puzzle and have your wonderful w/t in hand. Thanks much, I'm on my way!
