L4l we have been in a drouht and have fire bans issued so always can use rain but wouldn't mind it if the temp was warm instead of only 40. lol

It is at 73 riht now and me and Sassy are back from a nice walk. She ate grass the whole time and then had to stop to puke. I wonder how she makes it through winter without grass to eat. lol

Haroula all that fun and no nap I can see why he would be exhausted. Glad he finally slept.

Bets have fun gaming and enjoy the bars you make.

Howdy Lotus!! Happy gaming to you too!!

Ana I am sure it is really hard for you to just sit there and do those project when all you want to do is go, go, go lol Enjoy the walk with the dos and hope the rain holds off for ya!!

Almost time to think about getting ready so I can fireup the taxi. Have a wonderful afternoon and evening all.

Depressed. Junior Seau, former Chargers quarterback committed suicide just an hour or so ago. Neighbors heard the shot and it's a real chaotic scene there now. He lived up the coast in Oceanside, CA about 50ish miles from my house. Sigh.

I saw that on the news, Sorta, though Fox, at least, has retracted the suicide and is now just saying he died of a gun shot wound. It's always sad to see folks who feel as if they have no reason to live.

L4L, and all Boomers!

Hope your day is lovely! Sorta, I saw that too. Depression is a horrible disease. It not only ruins your life, but your fanily and friends suffer too. It's nothing to be embarrased about, and do talk to your family Dr about it. I don't know if it caused the death of the fellow or not. Just my take on it.
Today is the last day of my weekend. Did some important stuff this morning before the heat started, now gaming and housework.
Joe, hope you find some more arrowheads.

Yup, the news is saying suicide (they thought he tried it months ago by running his car off a cliff) and a local psychiatrist mentioned 'anti-depressants' but so far nobody really knows anything. Only reports is 'gunshot wound to the chest, gun nearby, found by girlfriend who was out shopping but had been with him earlier today, he was alive when paramedics arrived.' All very confusing and hopefully, if it was suicide, he left a note. His mother gave a statement and I cried and cried it was so sad. Sigh. 42 years old and gone.

Wow I'm very late checking in today. I had the day off and I've been very busy getting caught up. Did laundry this morning, went shopping for my Mom. Her birthday is coming up and I'll be going up to see her tomorrow so I wanted to bring her some birthday gifts. She'll be 93 on May 6th. It's hard for me to believe that she's gonna be 93. birthday Mom hearts I Love You.

Howdy ever buddy. wave

After a long hot day I'm back from my hunt. The promised hunting grounds ended up being misleading. The person who's house we went to was a very nice person with dozens of nice arrowheads who had no intention of letting us hunt on his property. smirk

Most of his finds were on government property around the lake, where if you get caught with artifacts in your possesion, you get a huge fine.

We ended up driving the opposite direction for an hour to hunt of the place where my friend Shane has permission to hunt. The ground there is littered with flint chips. I found one point that has a chunk missing from the side, and I wish we had more time, but it was hot and we were melting and thirsty, and eaten up by mosquitos.

I didn't come back empty handed though and after two weeks, I have another point to add to my collection. yay

Evening; been a long day especially after waking up at 2:30 this morning and couldn't get back to sleep. So went down for a couple cups of regular and then a neighbor asked if I would take her in for groceries. And tomorrow will be another long day to get my own shopping done.
It's been a cold, windy day. Temp in the mid 50's.

May all have a restful and relaxing night.
