Synopsis

Liz Lidenbrock, great-great granddaughter of Otto Lidenbrock, is an outsider, who spends most of the day wiping the dust off old artifacts in a museum she runs. Yet, as oddly appearing Bounty Hunter kidnaps her, Liz’s life is about to change forever.

Stranger takes Liz through subterranean tunnels when another burst of an earthquake lets Liz escape. After bizarre runaway Liza finds herself... in the Underworld, a world inside our planet. As Liz explores it, she meets allies who tell her that Underworld is doomed, as the Gaia Heart, an ancient artifact supporting life on our planet, is dying.

Surprisingly for herself, Liz feels strong inner instinct to save the Gaia Heart growing inside her. Together with new companions she continues the journey to find that she is actually an immortal Gaian—the last of the Earth Healer Priestess bloodline, and the only living who could stop Scartaris Umbra, an evil wizard who damaged the Heart.

Her past and destination becoming clear to her, Liz leads her team to the Temple of Gaia to defeat Scartaris Umbra in final battle and heal the Gaia Heart.

Liz Lidenbrock
Liz is the great-great granddaughter of Otto Lidenbrock, the questionably famous explorer who allegedly led an expedition to the center of the Earth. Liz spends her days maintaining her grandfather’s dusty artifacts in the Otto Lidenbrock museum, constantly mesmerized and day dreaming about the adventures that he experienced. Some times, she almost feels like she was there….

Grump

Grmplyigh (Liz calls him “Grump” for short) is the last of the Ice Giants to rebel against Scartaris Umbra’s rule. He is freed from his icy tomb in the Giant’s Village by Liz, and displays an immense strength and childlike sense of loyalty to his new friends.\

Pretty Boy

Clockwork Citizen Pr3tt4 B04 (Pretty Boy) is the only remaining citizen of Steam City to resist Umbra’s control. Capable of spotting the minutest detail, he joins Liz on her quest to heal the Earth Heart, while also searching for his clockwork brethren.

Zin

No one knows exactly where this furry mystic hails from, even in Underworld. Freed from a mysterious chest, Zin uses his agility to reach seemingly unobtainable objects. He also has a wisdom and memory that carry back to the ancient days of Underworld.

Nilpax

This steampunk bounty hunter is known for getting any job done for the right price. But things have changed in Underworld. The fate of the Earth grows more uncertain with each day, and Nilpax wonders if something more important than money may be at stake.

Scartaris Umbra

Mad with the dark secrets of arcane technomagic, Scartaris Umbra craved power from an early age. As he grew in ability, his desire to rule Underworld began to take shape, blinding him to the destruction and suffering he caused. Where there was peace and unity, he saw only weakness and beings ripe for domination, and ultimately, sacrifices for his immortality.
