Just wondering if there is much of a difference between dark fall 2 and Dark Fall 2 Director's Cut. I have dark fall 2. thanks

I may have to get this one. I didn't care for the original, or, I should say I didn't like it as well as the other Dark Fall's, because the story was too vague for me. The Director's Cut sounds like you get to understand more of what's going on.

The Director's Cut is almost a completely different game. I was really disappointed with the original DF 2. The Director's Cut is so much better. Some silly puzzles were removed. The story suddenly made sense. Etc. I believe Jonathan Boakes once said that he had to rush the development of DF 2 due to pressure from the publisher. The Director's Cut is the game he had set out to create from the beginning.

I couldn't get it to work on my 64 bit Windows 7 computer. Jonathan said he was going to look into it and sent me a saved game that bypasses the start of the game and allowed it to work, but I never did play it, knowing that it was probably going to crash again at the end of the game. That was over 9 months ago, and I haven't heard anything more from him.
